This is our discussion of the short story....

"A Calendar of Tales" by Neil Gaiman

This was clever - 12 stories, each focusing on a different month. It only was diminished slightly when I read in the Introduction that it was some sort of a joint project with BlackBerry. Oh well, authors gotta eat too I suppose.

As for the stories themselves, I'd say the strongest were January (reminded me of the movie Edge of Tomorrow for some reason), March (reminded me of American Gods) and September. Weakest were the summer months (June, July, August) and December.

Although this one seemed less popular I really enjoyed it - although that could be because I've been getting into more short fiction and graphic stuff (as long as it's still genre)
