Nothing happens in the small town where Cullen Witter is. People try to leave and find a place outside of the confines of the town, but they all eventually come back to die there. But then Cullen's little brother, Gabriel, disappears one day. And he may never come back. This book was heavy stuff. I enjoyed reading it because Cullen is an engaging character and it does some fascinating things with time and character developement. I was also very invested in Gabriel which made the whole story more real for me. I'd recommend this book for age sixteen and up. Some adult content.
