Heather Stang (heatherstang) | 3 comments I am Heather Stang, thanatologist, meditation and yoga therapy practitioner.

My new book, Mindfulness & Grief, is an 8 week guide featuring over 35 meditation, yoga & journaling exercises, plus inspirational stories for life after loss.

If you are a non-fiction/self-help reviewer, and are available to read a PDF copy of the book, email me heatherstangma[at]gmail.com to receive a review copy.

Thanks! Heather

CeCe Osgood | 6 comments Just wanted to let you know I read your very fine post about your stepfather. My own loss (my almost husband) is still with me 13 years after his death from colon cancer. I'm a writer but unable to put any of it into words. I intend to get your book and recommit to my yoga practice and meditation again. I've neglected those two for a while now. So...just sending good wishes. Best, CeCe Osgood

Heather Stang (heatherstang) | 3 comments Hi CeCe: I am so glad you reached out and let me know you read that post. It has taken a while to really be able to talk about all the nuances of the relationship... he was a wonderful but complicated man.

I do hope the book helps inspire your practice, and want you to know that there are free guided meditations on my web site at http://mindfulnessandgrief.com/medita.... I hope they are helpful.

Please stay in touch - I would love to hear more about your writing!

Cheers,
Heather
