Also on the Sofie tab...Did anyone else notice that the distrust for men seems to kind of run the Lightwood family?
Sophie b/c of her old master and Izzy b/c of her Dad cheating
Not sure two incidents means it runs in the family. There are a lot of generations between Sophie and Izzy. Izzy's issue is one i'm sure a lot of girls would suffer from.
Hmmm, I think it's probably just an inconsistency. It's probably meant to be Sophie Ashdown, because having your last name as Shadowhunter is errmm, no offence to anyone, is a tad weird when you are becoming one...??

Just that she became a Shadowhunter, not that that's her last name.

It's the two identical quotes minus the differing last name that's confusing me though. Did it change between editions?
Yes, it is maybe just customary for newly Ascended shadowhunters to be called like that, as:ABC Shadowhunter

But this is a tumblr post of Cassie's in response to an ask. *There is a spoiler that was meant to be under the cut but I don't know how to link with the read more tag, so if you have not read City of Heavenly Fire only read the first part, up to the teeny tiny writing, okay?*

So here Cassie says she was named Sophia Ashdown. And other than the name, the quote is exactly the same. Anyone else confused? Anyone know what's up with that?
