I'd like to start reading different books, I mostly just read biographies and stuff along the lines of that, but I'd like to just broaden what I'm reading this summer but only reading one biography.
The majority of what I read is biographical, but I want to try some fiction and poetry over the rest of the summer.
We have exactly four weeks until school starts, so I would like to make a diversity goal for the remainder of summer, along with my other goals. I want to read one book from each recommendation category. I'd like to read:From nonfiction, I am Malala by Malala Yousafzai
From general fiction, The Cabinet of Wonders by Marie Rutkoski
From Sci Fi/Fantasy, Grendel by John Gardner
From Classics, The Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger
From Young Adult, It's Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini
I don't have a lot of choices poetry and drama wise, but it seems like a few of you enjoyed Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur, so I requested that from the library (though there appears to be a long, long wait list). I feel like it might be the kind of thing one either loves or hates, so I'll see.
I would like to read more sci Fi/Fantasy books these last 3 weeks because I only have read fiction and non-fiction this summer. Books like Grendel.

As with all goals, make sure it's SMART:
Specific
Measurable (you'll be able to know if you reached it)
Appropriate/Achievable (not too hard, not too easy)
Relevant (to you and your interests)
Time-Based (summer!)
