What are your thoughts on The fellowship of the ring?

I really liked this, especially the way it began with Bilbo. That was super fitting. That said, it was definitely a harder read than The Hobbit, and I found myself a little bogged down in the description at times. But Sam Gamgee is the best hobbit ever :)

Sam is indeed awesome. This book was my favorite of the series. I had especially a lot of trouble getting through the last book. I love the quest and the things that they do here and the friendships that they built. Gandalf is awesome as well!

Yeah, I think in the second and third books it could really drag on... like the council of elrond? But the first one definitely has good action :) and for sure, who can forget Gandalf?

That's great, I'm glad you're enjoying it!! It definitely takes a long time to read though O.o

I took especially long reading the last book. The middle part really dragged on in my opinion! The first one is certainly my favorite.
