Book-a-book of the Month Club discussion

Can't really call it "The Story" since it is Non Fiction, so we will just do General overall discussion of Dad Is Fat here

I'm almost finished. I mentioned somewhere else that this really has an Bombeck Erma feel to me. It's incredibly obvious how much each loves their spouse and children, but families are funny and pointing out the funny side helps keep us all sane.

This book is a very accurate description of my life! As a father of a 3 and 5 year old I am LOLing the whole time. I can see how the humor in this is going to resonate more with parents.

My youngest is now 18 and leaving for college 3000 miles away in August, but at one point, I had three children under five, worked full time and squished into a small house. Almost everything he talks about resonates with me! Even if only in memory. ;-)
