Australian Women Writers Challenge discussion

Have only challenged myself to read four books by Australian Women Writers, since I am starting half-way through the year.

The Getting of Wisdom I read this earlier in the year so I am already one up! Woo! I liked it. Didn't love it.

I did manage to read four books by Australian women last year. The other three were Questions of Travel by Michelle de Kretzer; The Lieutenant by Kate Grenville; and The Precipice by Virginia Duigan. Questions of Travel was by far my favourite of the four I read. What a great challenge, I will be more conscious now of what Australian women are writing.

Now, I'll definitely have to read Questions of Travel. I enjoyed her ghost story.
