Kindred Spirits discussion

Hi all, I'm new to this group but a long-time L.M. Montgomery fan! What do you all think of think of the new Anne With an E show (known just "Anne" in Canada)? I like that it offers a different perspective than did the classic Kevin Sullivan movie. What do you think? I'm thinking of re-reading the Anne series with both varying interpretations in mind - would anyone else like to do a read-along?
