Wendy's Wanderings | 182 comments What types of PA Outdoor Activities do you like to participate in? Where in PA are some of the places you go? ex. hiking, Picnicking, walking, running, swimming, bird watching ....etc.

Candy Sparks (ladynoveil) | 6 comments I have been doing a lot of 5k's. All over central PA. That just means I am a lover of running. If anything there are some places close to where I live that is just a trail and loads of woods that is where I go to reconnect and disconnect.

Wendy's Wanderings | 182 comments That's interesting that you go all over Central PA. I am more of a hiker than I am a runner. But,I did a 5k Color Day in Lancaster at a fast walk the other week. I like to get out and get a little bit of exercise.

Jeni (lvbum115) My husband and I are fairly new to Pittsburgh, this is our third summer now. But we just bought a house, so we decided to really get to know our new home this year. We went to the Three Rivers Art Festival this past weekend. Canoeing on Moraine Lake (state park). Berry picking at Triple B Farms. It's been fun getting to know the area better.

Suggestions on other places in the near area we should check out?

When I finally get myself over to Pittsburg I plan on heading over to the Andy Warhol Museum. That is where I would be. It is great to explore the area when you are new!

Sounds like you are off to a good start. So much to do in Pittsburgh. I would go to the National Aviary because I love birds.
