Sweetmint padded out of camp and stopped, waiting for Rowanpaw to walk past her. "Okay," She mewed, "So someplace dry, where would you go?" She flicked her tail curiously and studied Rowanpaw's face. They were able to collect burdock in a few places in the forest, but she knew the best pace wasn't actually under the shady trees. Sweetmint waited patiently while her apprentice decided where they would go to collect their herbs. She also planned on a few other things for him to collect, depending on where he led her. She smiled to herself as she thought, her apprentice had really come a long way so far, but he still had much to learn.

Rowanpaw passed his mentor and headed towards a larger clearing. He had found this spot when he first became an apprentice it was typically warm and dry most of the time. Rowanpaw hadn't responded to Sweetmint as he made his way towards the clearing. He remembered finding a patch of burdock root here awhile ago and was glad when he saw the patch again.

Sweetmint followed carefully at Rowanpaw, watching his actions. She sniffed the air curiously as they padded into the clearing. Normally she harvested a few other herbs along the edges of the clearing and was mildly surprised when her apprentice led her to a patch of burdock root. "Excellent Rowanpaw," Sweetmint purred happily, wondering when the plant had started growing there. She sniffed at the patch curiously, "This is a good batch, and perfect for harvesting." She sat back and nodded at her apprentice to start collecting the roots. "Where else can you find burdock?"

"Yeah I found it last new-leaf. There's also patches near the training hollow for the apprentices, but that one is much smaller." Rowanpaw meowed he carefully dug around the plant to get to the roots, but was careful to not take the major ones, so the plant would continue to grow.

Sweetmint nodded satisfied, "Good. Can you show me what else grows in this clearing?" She'd taken him there a couple times before to collect a few various things. It was convenient for several herbs to grow in close proximity.

Rows paw nodded, "well there is beech and blackberry and bindweed too." He gazed around the clearing his eyes narrowing when he laid his eyes on a bell shaped flower. "And foxglove." He finished with the seeds that could either help a cats heart or stop it.

"Excellent," Sweetmint purred and padded over to her apprentice to help him carry the burdock. "This should be enough for now." She mewed thoughtfully and picked up half a bundle. Flicking her tail at Rowanpaw to follow, she began to walk out of the clearing.

Rowanpaw nodded and picked up the rest of the burdock. He quickly followed his mentor happy that he had remembered the names of the herbs.
