Justin (justinbienvenue) Has anyone read any good Weird West or Western Horror books? They could feature any of the below topics whether it's ghosts, demons, zombies, etc.

Justin (justinbienvenue) Dead in the West is on my to-reads list. Joshua glad I could help, I recently created this thread in hopes to get book ideas and help spread the word of weird westerns.

Hunter Shea | 63 comments Back when I was writing for Samhain, a few of us put out western horror novels around the same time. I saw Dust Devils by Jonathan Janz mentioned earlier. I wrote Hell Hole, and Eric Red had The Guns of Santa Sangre. Amazingly, all three books were very, very different from one another. Unfortunately, all are out of print at the moment.

I picked up Hell Hole (and many others) before Samhain closed the doors. Whew!

Anna (doppiocuore) | 35 comments In the Rogue Blood Very good and bloody western. There are no horror genre monsters like vampires or zombies, but people can be demons and ghosts.

Justin (justinbienvenue) I haven't read a Western Horror in a while but I have actually just written one. I just recently finished writing a Post Civil War Western Horror called Nightstalkers and Lycanhawks. It's about a battle between vampire cowboys and werwolf Indians set in 1875 Tombstone, Arizona.

Justin (justinbienvenue) I'm going to start reading more western horror and writing more of them as well.
