Thanks to this group's readathon this month, June was by far my best reading month of this year so far, with ten books read!!
It's a wild mix of different genres, formats, authors, time written, length, re-reads and books out of my comfort zone that I'm really happy with. I also enjoyed every one of these books, which is always good! Of the first-time reads, my favourite would have to be Pride and Prejudice; a book I'm constantly hearing about without being able to say I've read it - only now I can! Brilliant book, worth all the hype in my opinion! The Three-Body Problem and Black Moon were fantastic books also, and such fun reading experiences for me.
If I had to pick a least favourite, I'd go with The Truth About My Success. Not a terrible book in any way, but a pretty forgettable one for me with some quirky elements that just didn't sit right with me personally.
So yeah, reading-wise I had an awesome June, hope all of you did too! Would definitely love to participate in another All About YA readathon in the future if you guys are planning doing more. It was a lot of fun! :D
