Train Dreams question

Often when I read a good book, I want to devour everything that author has read. Sometimes, though, when I read a transcendentally good one, something makes me shy away from reading that writer again. I'm fighting that by reading Denis Johnson'sTrain Dreams, the first book of his I've read since loving Jesus' Son years ago. I'd like to discuss it with anyone who's reading it or remembers it well.
