Gabe walks up to the forest- even though it was still light out but the over head trees were making everything inside the forest shadowy and darker.

Viper glances around and turns to Gabe who looks slightly nervous. "Do you mind if I shift?" She asked him with a slight smile.

"No- go ahead." he smiles, she could probably smell better in panther form. He'd never been out here before- he wondered what all was in the woods, "You been here before?"

"Sure." She said. Looked around then shifted. Her body turned into a athletic cat with black fur covering her body. Her green eyes burned bright. Viper was luckily in control of her Panther form but sometimes she did things without her permission. Looking up at Gabe she smiled a toothy grin which was probably quite freaky.

He swallows and manages to smile back. "Cool." he says with a thumbs up. He wasn't sure if having her in panther form made him feel more freaked out or safer.

Viper censed a change in him he went ridged and she backed away from him to give him more room not wanting him to feel scared. She sat back on her hutches.

"It's fine." he says, "I've seen people change into big animals before." he assures her, "Well- let's go explore."

She felt a sense of relief and followed him. She whined and moved close to him.

He looks down at her and smiles running a hand along the fur on the top of her head.

She butts her head against his leg and purred loving the attention. Wow very cat like. But she was a Panther after all.

He smiles, "Your fur is soft." he says petting her as they walk.

She nods against him and purred again.

Wolf stiffened as she heard voices near to where she was walking. Quickly, she took cover behind a tree next to her.

He smiles, "Alright let's see if we can find anything cool."

Vipers head whips up and she growls into the wood.

Viper moves in front of him and smells wolf. She growls again

He looks at her and then follows the direction of her gaze- taking out his knife.

Viper stiffens and gets ready to pounce.

Wolf heard the menacing growl come from near her in the wood. She presses herself against the tree. Even though she knew all hope of passing unnoticed had got onto its bike.

He looks around confused- what had she seen he hadn't. He causes a strong breeze to ripple through all the trees hoping to catch a glimpse of whatever it was.

Pouncing she jumps on something and that something screeched as she hit the floor.

Wolf heard the person and animal, they were right on the other side of the tree she hid behind! She transformed into a wolf.

((cool))

Gabe spots her and sees her transform, "Wait! We won't hurt you."

A low and menacing growl came from her throat as she cautiously came out from behind her hiding spot.

Speak for himself Vipers Panther thought. She shook her head and backed off, thinking of what Gabe said. She stands in front of Gabe still growling at the girl. No one likes wolves especially cats.

Gabe looks at her, "Hi!" he says a bit overly cheerful, seeing no reason to be otherwise.

Wolf saw the poise of the panther in front of the human and found it hard to believe what he had said. Quickly, she thought to herself, she could always turn into a barn owl and escape on her wings.

Viper sits still and doesn't move just watches the wolf carefully.

Gabe doesn't notice Viper's protective stance, "I'm Gabe- who are you?" he asks encouragingly.

With hackles raised, Wolf slowly and suspiciously approaches the threat.

Viper stiffens but doesn't move from her stance. She eyes the white wolf warily.

Wanting to answer the man, but being unable to, Wolf cocks her head to the side slightly and whines.

Gabe steps forward, "It's alright." he says slowly.

Viper moves to the side of Gabe sitting like a guard dog waiting and watching.

Feeling slightly more relaxed, Wolf came even closer, sitting down, ears up.

Gabe smiles, "See?" he tells Viper, "She doesn't seem dangerous."

Viper doesn't react still watching the wolf, hoping that she would shift so Viper could follow.

Sensing the panthers wants, Wolf cautiously turns back into her human form, eying them both warily.

Gabe smiles, "Hi!" he repeats, "What's your name?"

Viper waits still reluctant to shift until she knows a bit about the wolf girl.

Wolf coughed and said "Wolf. Yours?"

"Gabe but I said that- this is Viper." he introduces.

Viper decides it's time to shift. Her long dark hair was ruffled and she stood with easy grace. Cracking her neck. "Yeah that's me."

She turned her attention to the girl, still in panther form and bowed her head in greeting. "Sorry" she said, turning her attention to the man "I wasn't really listening."

"No problem- Gabe and Viper." he repeats, "So you can change into a wolf then? That's cool."

The girl turned into a human and it made Wolf feel slightly better.

"Yeah totally cool." Viper turns her head to Gabe. "You're a dog person." She scrunches her noes.
