The library let me know the book was ready for pickup after a delay, so I will jump into it later today. How are you progressing with it?

I felt like I could relate to the many situations in the book as a Kenyan-American that is often mistaken for being African (by Americans) and not African enough by other Africans.

I know I'm limiting the amount of books I could devour if I would listen to audiobooks, but I just haven't been able to. Do you find it challenging listening to audiobooks or have any tips/suggestions?

I don't find it challenging. I would rather read the book on my kindle or the actual book sometimes though. The only sort of issue I have is that since I'm listening to it, sometimes the voices can sort of fade into the background and just become white noise. Then I'll miss something and have to listen again. It took me a while to get used to it but now I love using audible or I'll buy a book through google and have it read it to me while I do something else. The audiobooks allow me to finish more books than I normally would because I can listen at work and on my commute.

Hey Joyce,
That sounds like it would so frustrating! Almost like you are stuck in this invisible space or box that they invented for you. How do you deal with it when approached about it from either side?
