Filled it out, good luck with the MA! Know its a LOT of work... did one myself a few years ago. Also wish like Kevin did that I could have picked more than 5 sub genres. :)
So far I am surprised to see that a lot of people recognise fantasy publishing brands but other than recognition, hold no particular value or loyalty to any of them. Should make for some interesting analysis and strategy suggestions! :P I'm currently up to 80 responses (thanks to Goodreads!) but still need another 120 to meet my target so if anybody else may be interested in answering this survey, please do send them my way! :D And a big thank you to everyone who has completed the survey to date!

What really matters is authors name and integrity, not a brand, under which his books publisher takes
Done. But I hate having to choose one favorite author or book. It's just too hard to narrow it to one and I always forget something or someone I really liked.
And I think Fantasy has more acceptance in the wider publishing field, especially since the wild success of the Harry Potter books and things like The Hunger Games and Twilight.
Interesting questions. I've never really thought about the publisher as a determining factor. I barely know any of them. The strange thing is that I notice when an author I read frequently changes publishers from one series to the other, or when they decide to go indie and it gives me a bad impression of their old publisher. Poor publishers, damned if they do, damned if they don't.

I was wondering if you could take 10 minutes to complete a questionnaire that will help with my research and hopefully improve the quality of fantasy fiction in the future.

Your responses would be greatly appreciated and really help out a student and fellow fantasy lover! :-)
Thanks for your time!
