Daphne (daphnerieke) For Cameroon, I've got my eyes on this one: The Amputated Memory
Maybe also something for the bookclub?

I'm very curious about your list of potential books, maybe you can share it? (Perhaps in a new topic?) So we can all help you with finding great books!
So excited about this bookclub! :-)

The list is an oddly formated excel spreadsheet, the logic of which is hard to convey, I shall do once I have a better system.

Hahaha, that sounds exactly like my excel-file for reading Around the World with Sophie! With lots of different colours, different fonts which vary in sizes, very disturbing...
Looking forward to your 'better system list'! ;-)

Cam I've wanted to read Léonora Miano's novels for ages (especially Crépuscule du tourment) but unfortunately they're still not available in translation!!
The only novel of hers that has been is her first one and considering how the publishers have treated her I'd rather read it in French https://www.theguardian.com/books/boo...

Stacey (modica03) | 82 comments I'd love to explore Mexico. I don't know if either have been covered. I've been itching to read Elena Herrera's, Signs Preceding the End of the World.

Or Turkey, Contemporary Turkish Short Fiction. I'm going to look right now to explore Turkish novels.

Stacey (modica03) | 82 comments Continuation of my earlier comment, I haven read anything by Orhan Pamuk and would be willing to read any of his. I'm guessing many have read Snow, but if not ,its title (not indicative of the description ) seems appropriate for December. ☃️
