Hi everyone,

Time to think about what we'd like to read next month.
I'll put up a poll next weekend so plenty of time to put up some suggestions.
Kate :)

Kimberly (kimberly_3238) | 600 comments I've never read that one--this could be a unanimous vote! I'll withdraw mine at this point.

message 8: by Vicki Willis (new)

Vicki Willis I would also go for some Edward Lee!

message 9: by Addy (new)

Addy | 1944 comments I would join in for Ed Lee! Does anyone actually have the physical copy? Going rate is 9.00 on Amazon.

Great read.

Jen from Quebec :0) (muppetbaby99) | 35 comments I have read a LOT of Ed Lee this year, and WHICH book could we possibly choose?....We could lose members *forever* once they've been exposed to *that* dude! --Jen from Quebec :0)

Edward Lee

Lee sorta writes like Koontz in this one only he does it better than Koontz. It's not as splatterpunky as his usual stuff.

Jen from Quebec :0) (muppetbaby99) | 35 comments RE: GHOULS

This book's synopsis seems tame for Lee, indeed. I haven't read this one, but instead have read Header , The Bighead , and 3 other grisly, depraved tales (that I secretly loved). --Jen from Quebec :0)

Sorry Addy, I don't even have it to lend on kindle for you to borrow. I hope you get a copy.

Don't worry Jenn, we have some seasoned Lee readers in our group already. ;)

message 17: by Addy (new)

Addy | 1944 comments It's ok Kate. Thanks though! I might just purchase the kindle version although the pb cover is awesome!

message 18: by Terry (new)

Terry | 49 comments I would join along for the Edward Lee book too.

If we're mostly on board for reading Ghouls, do I need to put up a poll? I don't want to be unfair to John who put forward Angel Manor by Chantal Noordeloos

message 20: by Kimberly (new)

Kimberly (kimberly_3238) | 600 comments I just received my copy of Ghouls, and will be voting for that, regardless. It sounds like everyone else is on board with some Ed Lee...(Except John, who puts ANGEL MANOR on the list every month ;)).

Jen--I LOVED HEADER, and just read THE BIGHEAD this year. :) (My sister and I still quote some of the lines from HEADER--LOL!) I think it would be difficult to "shock" a group of horror readers, but this one by Lee I've never read. It does sound tame compared to most of his, but if it had 11's recommendation it must be good. :)
