Hi there. My name is Daphne, Daph for short. I found this group here on Goodreads. It sounds like fun. I tried to start a romance novel buddy read group recently but its not taking off so I am glad there is another group out there abut buddy reads. :)
Hi Daph! I'm so happy you are part of the group, we will have a great time doing buddy reads. Check out the books for July in the folder marked Monthly TBR. Also, leave recommendation in the folder marked Book Recommendations. Starting in August I will be picking one book and the 2nd book will be taken from the members recommendations. Also, every month I will be posting a video on my youtube channel showing everyone what 2 books we will be reading but don't worry if you miss my video, it will also be listed in the Monthly TBR folders. My name is Shannon, and I was absolutely thrilled to see you start this group! I'm 36 and from the East Coast of Canada. My three addictions are books, makeup, and hockey (I'm Canadian, we're born with that last one, lol). Many of my friends and family share my love of hockey, and but only my mom shares the same love of (and taste in) books, so I think this group is perfect for me! Xoxo

Hi everyone😊 I'm Therese from Long Island, NY & glad to be here! I found Lisa first on You Tube, saw she loved books & seemed as nuts as me at times (kidding 😉) and now I'm here and so glad. I'm a busy single mom with a teenage boy who's sports obsessed. I always make time for reading, the gym, makeup, cooking & live music .... (not in that order). Oh and I'm also a hockey fan (NY Rangers). ☺️ My TBR is eclectic & endless.

I've been thinking about how to find a reading buddy for a while now so finding this group is kind of wonderful.
My favorite things in my life are my dogs and my books :) (So much so that I named my dogs after book characters ;) )

Good morning from Wild & Wonderful West Virginia. My name is Gaylene and I'm a 50 year old, grandmother of 2 (who live in Nebraska). About a year ago, while dealing with empty nest syndrome, I rekindled my love for reading and buying books. I work during the weekdays but most evenings and weekends, you will find me reading, watching YouTube or watching sporting events with my husband (basketball or football). Even though I read a variety of genres, my favorite books tend to be thrillers and mysteries, so when I saw Lisa was starting this group, I was very excited. I'm looking forward to reading along with everyone!

Tamara from Northern California. I was born in San Francisco and I was and am a moderate radical from the 1960s. I taught art for 30 years and have always read books. I have been in several book groups and will try to keep up with this group. I have so many TBR books on my shelves and in my Kindle. I also ran a Harry Potter book group for GATE kids in a Junior High school.
