Maria . | 8 comments I’ve noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born.
—Ronald Reagan

Abortion and racism are both symptoms of a fundamental human error. The error is thinking that when someone stands in the way of our wants, we can justify getting that person out of our lives. Abortion and racism stem from the same poisonous root, selfishness.
—Alveda King

Lily (starlightmoonlight) | 145 comments Quotes on motherhood:

“Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work.” – C. S. Lewis

Only God Himself fully appreciates the influence of a Christian mother in the molding of character in her children. -Billy Graham

“Mothering is the gospel lived out as you hold your child's heart in beauty, prayer, and patience. It's not the big decision, but the little ones, trusting God through it all.” -Elizabeth Hawn

Jesus taught that providing shelter for the shelterless, food for the hungry, and clothing for the naked are sacred acts. They're also the hallmark activities of mothering. When we do them from the right motive for those in our homes, it's as if we've done them for Christ himself. -Jen Wilkin

There is more power in a mother's hand than in a king's scepter. – Billy Sunday

message 16: by Suresh (new)

Suresh (godman2050) | 18 comments “FOR MAN, THE RIGHT TO LIFE IS THE fundamental right. And yet, a part of contemporary culture has wanted to deny that right, turning it into an “uncomfortable” right, one that has to be defended. But there is no other right that so closely affects the very existence of the person! The right to life means the right to be born and then continue to live until one’s natural end: “As long as I live, I have the right to live.”

Excerpt From
Crossing the Threshold of Hope
Pope John Paul II

message 17: by Lily (new)

Lily (starlightmoonlight) | 145 comments “We live in a culture that tells women, ‘If you want to get ahead in life, if you want to go anywhere in life, you have to take a life,’” Presley said. “We live in a culture that tells men, ‘Fulfill the passions of your flesh, and you are not held responsible for your actions.’

“We live in a world that applauds evil as seen by its support of the taking of the most innocent of human beings’ lives. That’s a culture of death.”

I buy most books from Amazon because where i stay, there are no book stores that sell books such as these. Atleast not that I'm aware of.
