Ok so this may be because I'm severely sleep deprived but I'm kind of confused regarding the claims? Like, I'm not quite sure — are we claiming the gods themselves or are we claiming the powers? ^^"

No worries love, let me see if I can explain it differently. Basically, for the major god powers claims, you're claiming one item/power and making a god/goddess of that item/power.

Then for the minor god power claims, you can claim up to three (but also just one or just two) for one god/goddess that you create.

So I guess essentially, you're claiming the powers for the god that you make, but then you'll expand on what they can actually do with that power in the "abilities" section in the template.

Ex: I'm making a goddess of fire. So it will go

Goddess of: Fire; burning and destruction
Abilities: she can manipulate fire when the sun is visible
(then if you want) Weakness: she is weakened by cold and loses her powers quicker, as well as gets colder and sicker quicker from a weak immune system.


Does that make any more sense?

So right now what I understand is that you can either make a god with one major power or a god with at most three minor powers?

Sounds good! Do tell me if I'm doing anything wrong. One last thing — would it be alright for me to have a god who only has one minor power?

May I ask, I thought the gods lost their powers, or have they only lost most of it?

I also have a question related to claiming gods, I thought that you could only claim 2 before you made just a regular human, but I have seen some people with claims of 4 gods

1. The gods have lost most of their powers and as time goes on, they will get weaker. However they still have a few powers that set them aside from regular people

2. You can claim as many gods as you like, however when you actually create the characters, you must make a regular human for each two gods you make. If this isn't followed or the human isn't made in a timely fashion, all claims will be removed and none of your characters will be approved until you follow the rule.
