Lina snuck into the shadows.of Mitchell's.room.

Lina raised her eyebrows. What.did it mean?

Lina smiled. This.was.her chance. She knew they would visit her in her dorm. She touched her dog and teleported there.

Snow sighed. She walked through the hall, wondering what to do. Then she heard a creak. Freaking out, she mogrified into a white cat & hid against the pale walls.

Lina appeared. She recognized Snow. "She is probably lost. Let's take her to Snow's dorm. She will know who this little guy is." She said looking pointedly at the cat.

Lina took the cat down the hall into the shadows. "What are you doing here?" She asked the cat.

Lina.gasped
What.did this.mean?

Lina wrote a note to Mitchell:

Please explain everything you know. I need to know. I promise I am an Ever through and through. Please.

Lina sent it to Mitchell.

Snow felt like running. She had been stuck in this dorm for 2 days now. She longed to get out. She would've been able to, but her window was boarded up.

Without even thinking, she unborded it & flew out into the mist.

Snow looked down. The school looked so small! She could barely make out the people.

Snow looked around, wondering where she was

"Snow. I'm Emerson's cousin"

'Thought you would.'

"It's fine" said Snow as she examined her wings in a mirror "If it was bad there would be a..."
Snow gasped
"A crack"
For in the middle of her wing was a long crack

"Of course I've watched it" smiled Snow "My mother's in it. I guess Emerson could help..."

Mitchell left to go find Emerson

Snow rolled her eyes "I'm Snow" she said "Daughter of Periwinkle, cousin to Emerson"

"Nice" said Snow

"Kinda" said Snow "I'm learning to unfreeze people, but I can frost things & unfrost them"

"I would do that" smiled Snow "But my mom locked my power to kill people till... third year?"

"Mom wanted the power to be unlocked" said Snow "But stupid Queen Claron forbidden it"

Snow looked up "Why?" she asked "You have everything"

"Have you had any tragedy's happen?"

"That must be so sad. Marine mentioned being Aurora's daughter, but nothing about having a father..."

Snow sighed "Did you hear about that new girl that came in a few days ago? Lily? I heard she has a hard background"

"Don't know. The only thing I know is that her parents broke up & she was close to running away."

"Yea" said Snow "Your background is harsh"

Snow gave a dramatic sigh "You're not going to die"

"You're not going to die!" Yelled a voice.
Snow rolled her eyes "Stupid Alise & Getting into things" she muttered.
Snow opened the door

Snow felt like panicking. She & Alise were opposites: Like winter & summer.
Alise noticed Snow & began to calm down

Alise looked up 'Which one are you talking to?" her voice was stronger, nothing like it had been before she became the flame princess.

Alise rolled her eyes & exited
"Finally" Snow shivered "That girl gives me the creeps"

"Yea" said Snow "But its more than that. You know how I have snow powers and she's a... fire elemental"

"She can" said Snow "Really easily. That's why I hate her so much"

"I know. It's weird... I just get hurt by her more" Snow frowned

Lina persisted, asking Mitchell what she knew.
