A Question on Giveaways

My best results for generating TBR and follower numbers have been to have 2 books to give away and run it for 4 to 5 weeks.I have run my giveaways over large geographies, but I'm cutting that back to my core markets.
One of the neat things Goodreads offers is to alert folks who have shelved your book that there is a giveaway. So of you were to run a giveaway of one book, and then the next week, ran the book again, everyone who marked your book as to read would be notified, which means the book might be on their minds a little more as they've seen it a few times.
I might be an outlier here, but I usually give away 30 books and run the giveaway for a month. My TBR counts jump after it's over. I don't gain that many followers, though. Maybe 2 or 3.
If you give away a book in a series, do people who have a different book in the series on their shelf get notified too? Just wondering...

The way I run Goodreads giveaways is with one or two books for maybe three weeks duration. However, I ran a giveaway with only one book for nine days and had about the same number of entries. So if I had 3 books to give away, I would probably run 3 separate giveaways but maybe spread them out a little more than having them run one right after the other.
I normally do about a week for a giveaway and one book. I do find that's been the best timeframe for me. I tried a longer one just one time, I think about 2-3 weeks and I saw the same results as if I only did it 1 week. I also try to have the ebook $.99 at the time. Not sure if that made much of a difference because I had other promos going on at the time, but maybe it did.

Say I have 3 books to give away. Which strategy will provide better overall results, generally speaking?
A) 1 1-month giveaway where all 3 copies are given away.
B) 3 successive 1-week giveaways where each giveaway gives away 1 book.
Any insights will be most appreciated.
Thanks!
