However, the mystery regarding the sabotage of Miranda's book tour is resolved. Did we have enough clues to put all this together? What did you think of the climax at Canopy (Taliña and Victor's home)?

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I thought the whole climax was interesting. I was surprised to find out that crazy eyes was Doña Taliña husband and Victor's son. I also figured that leaving Miranda in a safe place while Adrien went after Victor would backfire.

I thought the climax was exciting, though I gave up trying to follow the descriptions of the rain forest. It was a big surprise to learn that Victor, Jr. was married to Taliña instead of his father. I don't understand why she was having sex with him, either unless he was forcing her.

It was just crazy to have left Miranda in that crypt. Just nuts. Secret doors and passages that they knew nothing about. And that much they knew.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments Yup, I agree. That was almost what I'd call a TSTL moment for the bullet catcher!

Anita (anitanodiva) | 849 comments Anywhere he "put" her was a bad idea. I really liked her idea of just leaving her in the rain forest, myself.

Jr. was nuts, Sr. was a criminal piece of work and Talina was a contradiction between her Mexican Cartel days and her genuine caring for Miranda. The climax was great.
