Prince of Fools
question
Lawrence vs Weeks

Having some trouble deciding between which series to start next and I'm stuck between the red queens war and lightbringer. I've just finished reading the stormlight archive and am am also a fan of mistborn, kingkiller chronicles, demon cycle and the faithful and the fallen. From what I've read the protagonist from the red queens war might be unlikeable enough to put people off so please can you help me decide?

I've not read any Brent Weeks (yet) so I can't do a comparison but I can say that Prince Jalan, the protagonist in the Red Queen's War, isn't unlikeable. He's certainly nothing like the sociopathic Jorg from Lawrence's previous work.
He is (and he would be the first to admit this) a lazy, lying, spoiled coward. But this means his somewhat cynical take on the world is wryly amusing and I certainly found him quite likeable, if in need of a slap now and again.
