Crazy for Young Adult Books discussion

Has anybody in the group read this book? I myself just finished reading it and I am absolutely amazed at it's beauty.

If you read this book..
1. Do you/would you suggest everybody read it regardless of sexual preference, gender identification, etc..
2.What about this book changed you or made you think/see things in a different way?
3.Anything else?

This book helped me understand some of the worry that comes along with being transgender. I appreciated the diversity and honesty. However, I found it very boring to read, unfortunately. I wouldn’t tell anyone not to read it, because it is informative, and an own-voices novel, but I imagine there are better books in this sub-genre.
