Hope slipped away from the lounge room full of spirits doing strange and weird things. Wandering around, she still could not believe she was dead. That made everyone in her family now. Well, judging from the calendar, Hope had been dead for four years, not that she knew how she had been murdered. She just woke up after arriving here to investigate, and being lured into the house, and was no longer breathing or living.

Axel's been just wandering the house for a while, sort of avoiding the large crowd in the lounge room and sticking to the less frequented rooms. He pauses for a second. A lot of the spirits here seem to be afraid of the greenhouse, so that's where he ends up, slipping in to look at the greenery.

Hope eventually came to the Greenhouse, mostly because it was one of the few rooms that were empty, but also because it looked pretty and she needed a breather. Heh. A spirit who needed a breather. Walking in, she noted that it was indeed not empty as she had thought. "Oops, sorry," she said to the guy already in there.

He hears footsteps and pauses, tensing a bit. He's always wary of people coming into the same room as him, for some reason. Antisocial tendencies, probably. He looks over towards the entrance to the room, tilting his head slightly, and then relaxes again upon seeing it isn't someone hostile. "It's fine."

She nodded slowly, and entered the Greenhouse, wary of the other guy since he seemed momentarily tense, before he relaxed. She wondered why. Looking around first, Hope noted that it was indeed a very fresh and lush place. Then she turne back to him and said, "um, hi, I'm..Hope, who are you?" She hoped she didn't sound too rude.

Axel looks at her for a few seconds, pausing, and then turns to look at everything. The plants are a bit overgrown from lack of care. It's a wonder they haven't died yet. Probably some cracks in the glass, and when it rains, the plants get water.. He shrugs off the thoughts and looks over when.. Hope? Hope starts speaking, and then nods. "Hey. I'm Axel."

"Nice to meet you," she said after a moment, walking around. She sighed, it was strangely peaceful to her being here. She didn't know why, but it was perhaps one of the rooms in the house that was actually comforting. The living room had been a mess though. So many spirits. "So Axel, when did you die?" she asked.

"Nice to meet you, too, Hope. That's a nice name." He smiles slightly at her, then looks around again, glancing. The overgrown quality to the room almost makes the place look more haunted, but then, he's used to seeing things that look haunted. He lives in the haunted mansion. "I died in 1842. What about you?"

"Oh, that was a long while ago. I died in 2010," she said, touching the glass window, or sort of touching it. She sighed, pulling away and just looking at the room. "Hm, I kind of like the way this room looks, but then, I'm curious...back in the day...was it always like this, you know when he was alive?" She was referring to Don Angelo.

"Wow. When people say a much more recent death date I always feel so old." He says, almost jokingly, and touches some of the plants gently. "I don't think it looked like this. When I was here, it wasn't as overgrown. Sometimes a spirit or two will come back to like, clip some stuff and all, but it gets unruly with nobody caring for it." He's never understood the aversion to saying Don Angelo's name, but he still doesn't say it. He has a feeling the other spirits would freak out if he did.

She chuckled lightly, "sorry, didn't mean to make you feel old," she said walking to one end of the room and just staring out the glass panes. "What was it like here when you were?" Even though she was a spirit of the house now...it did not mean she lost who she was. Hope couldn't help but want to be nosy when it came to ghost related stuff. She had been a ghost hunter after all, once upon a time.

Axel laughs just lightly, pretty quietly, and shrugs. "It was mostly a joke. I don't feel too hold. But ehh, I sort of am. Only I never aged because I'm a spirit, so I'm eternally seventeen-looking." He tilts his head a bit, then answers. "The glass was less cracked, the plants were more tame."
