Character storage discussion

This is important, but not final. Like i said with the history, the personality changes with the story. In personality the history usually changes it and the story changes the history. In my story, i started off with a geeky, boring character. Now he is this epic, deep character that i am very proud of. (he is still like an empty shell though ^^). when i change the history it has to make sense with the personality. Like, you can't have your guy's history have his parents dieing, he is liveing on the street, and murdered someone and have him a happy-go-lucky, compassionate kid who loves crowds and people or w/e, wouldn't it make more sense that he'd be depressed, dark, foreboding, hates crowds, prefers being alone, hates life, etc. doesn't that match up better?

She is cynical and arrogant, a heart of steal. The only emotuons she whos is anger or a mocking smile? SHe is a very determined person and she is filled with pride. She is sadistic, enjoying seeing people cry and kneal before her.

death of family aka she is orphaned. how did she feel about her parent's death?
was she happy?
was sshe sad?
was she numb?
the emotion she feels at the thought of her parent's death hsape her personality (part of it anyways. if she was happy that means they were bad parents, meaning she was abused or soemhing. if you get abused what does it do to their perosnality?
if she was sad that means she has empathy right? so right about how she is maybe kind
if she is numb maybe she is in denial? that can be part of her perosnality. maybe she denies the truth and lives in a woth flase happiness?

so for ehr persoanlity she could be either pessimistic of optimistic.


i feel as if you've made her optimistic so write about how she is kind but justify it in her past.
