He sat in his yard with his six cats, a Baby Troll named H.A.M. Hood, his two dogs, and a Gecko. He hugged his overgrown cat with one arm and with the other he held onto his sheepdog. "Loki? Are you here?" He heard Mariah. He stood up and turned around. "What do you want?" He hissed. Mariah was standing there with Goldberg. Loki dug his nails into his palm. He looked pass the two adventures. He was looking at his portal room. "What do you want?" Loki repeated. Goldberg walked up to him and punched him. "You disrespect Ioldar, you yell at your friends, and you don't even try to use your powers for good! And you don't listen!" Loki stared at Goldberg. Loki knew that what Goldberg said was true. Loki did not listen, he was not listening even then. Loki thought where he could go, where no one would come near him. He wanted to be alone with his pets. Mariah and Goldberg would never let him be. Loki gulped, he would have to... Kill them. Loki gripped his swords so tight his knuckles turned white. He planned to kill them, then go through his Varrock portal and run to... Where? He had no idea. Perhaps he would just wander. Loki held up his sword and said in a strangely calm voice, "I do not need a cure if it ruins my friendship, I need no friends," He stabbed Goldberg. He shouted out in pain and fell to the ground. Loki ran and jumped through the Varrock portal. Loki dropped his swords. "What have I done?" He fell to his knees.Goldberg held his stomach, blood gushed out. Mariah quickly ran over to him. She put a cloth on the wound to try and stop the bleeding. She walked him over to the exit portal, they needed Myristica. Myristica and Ioldar stood there, casually. When they saw Mariah holding on a very wounded Goldberg, they were utterly shocked. "Let me help him," Myristica said, grabbing Goldberg from Mariah. "What happened?" Ioldar asked. "L-Loki stabbed- stabbed me," Goldberg said between coughs filled with blood. Myristica's eyes widened and she looked up at a terrified Mariah. "Why?" She asked. Mariah did not respond. "Why?!" Myristica asked, her voice rising in volume. Mariah shook her head sadly. "I don't know."
Loki himself did not know either. He quietly listened to a musician play a melody. Loki mindlessly dug into the dirt in front of him. "Ugh, would you stop that?" The musician groaned, trying to focus on his music. Loki rolled his eyes and stood up. "Fine," Loki said, holding back anger. He stomped away.
Loki had removed his armor, for he felt he was no worthy of it. He held his rune longsword and let it go, he was not worthy of it.
Loki walked along a dirt path near the digsite. He had not thought of where he would go. Loki shook his head, he needed to think. He sat in the shadow of a tree, pondering. "Hahaha! And then I killed The King Black Dragon again!" He heard a couple adventurers chatting. "Yeah? Well, I killed the Queen Black Dragon!" "You did not!" He could not focus. "Could you not be so loud?" Loki asked, his hands in tight fists. The adventurers turned their heads. "Nope," They both said with a laugh. Loki held his hands at his sides. He wanted to kill them, but he remembered he left his swords, and for a good reason too. The two men laughed hard as Loki tried to resist his urges. Loki gulped as he felt his knife on his belt. He had forgotten to remove it. He held it in his hand, the blade sharp. He, then, looked at the two men, they stared at Loki. One wore adamant armor and the other wore dragon armor. Loki could defeat the one with the weaker armor, but the other he could not. The adventurers stopped laughing. Loki's hand was bleeding. He couldn't hurt someone again.
Goldberg groaned as Myristica wrapped the bandage around his stomach. Mariah hugged herself as Goldberg sat up. "Urgh!" He shouted, putting pressure his wound. The blood soaked bandages weren't helping very much. Goldberg coughed and said, "We must find Loki before he fully activates his powers." Myristica pushed Goldberg back down into his seat. " You cannot go, you are too wounded," she said. Goldberg cursed and said "through his teeth, "Fine, but you don't know what you're dealing with."
Loki sighed and wiped the blood onto his pants. He really couldn't not hurt anyone. The two adventurers had left Loki alone. They were just too freaked out by him. Loki held in his sorrow. He knew that he was a terrible person. How could he live with himself? Loki dropped his knife and decided he would go into the deep wilderness. Loki walked all the way to the wall in the deep wildy. He was alone, but was it worth it? Loki looked back, he couldn't see anything but darkness for miles. He had no armor or weapons, what would he do if another adventurer wanted to kill him? Loki shook his head, he didn't want to think about that. He softly pressed his hand against the wall and breathed a shallow breath. He had to protect himself, but how could he do that if he did not want to hurt people? Loki groaned, this was all too confusing. Loki slumped down and closed his eyes. He would try to sleep.
"Hey, look at this guy!" Loki opened his eyes and saw that the two adventurers from before were standing above him. "My name is Laki," The one in the Dragon armor said, taking his helmet off. He shook his long black hair and Loki gasped when he saw his face. He looked just like Loki! Laki's friend looked at the two, very confused. "What the hell? What is going on, Laki?" His friend asked. Laki smiled a little and replied, "I've been looking for him for years." Loki stood up and stared at the two adventurers. Looking at Laki was like looking in a mirror. It reminded Loki of one of those mirror mazes at a carnival. Laki smiled, showing his bright white teeth. Loki glanced over at the other adventurer. Laki's friend shrugged and Loki looked back at Laki. "Who are you?" Loki asked. Laki crossed his arms and said, "I'm you and you're me."
"What the hell?! Why didn't you say before we went half away around Gielinor looking for him!" Myristica shouted, her hands on her knees. She leaned down closer to Goldberg. Goldberg coughed, "I was, but you just up and left me." Ioldar crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow, "So... Could you repeat everything you just said? 'Cause I did not catch anything you said." Goldberg groaned.
"Loki is being stalked by an evil adventurer that wants him to become his student. The evil adventurer is no normal human, he is from the future! His name is Laki, he is from a... different future. He wants to make sure Loki chooses the future that Laki is from! I didn't want to say anything before, for it may change the course of history!"
Laki held out his hand before Loki and said, "Join me." Laki's friend tilted his head and said, "The clan leader said you couldn't recruit any more members." Laki laughed, "I'm not recruiting him for our clan, he is already in the clan, Spat, he is me and I am him." His friend, named Spat, shook his head and said, "I am really not getting this, so is it that you're from different times or something or what? And how can you both be in the same place and time without the world exploding?" Laki grinned. He said nothing more to Spat. He turned back to Loki. Loki still was very confused.
Laki took Loki by the shoulder and said, "You see all of this around you? The empty darkness, we could rid it of the monsters and turn into the most wonderful city ever!" Loki looked straight at Laki's blue eyes. Wait, Loki thought, if he is me, why are his eyes blue and mine hazel? How far in the future was Laki from? He did not look much older than Loki, in fact he looked younger! Loki pushed Laki's hand off his shoulder and said, "You're not me!" Laki gasped as if Loki had said something very awful to him. "Perhaps I am... Or maybe I'm not..." Laki said, a mischievous grin on his face.
Goldberg shakily stood up. "We must find Loki and Laki before if is too late!" Goldberg cried. Myristica helped him stand up. "Goldberg, you mustn't try too hard, you may hurt yourself," She said, worried. Goldberg smirked and told her with a chuckle, "If I hurt myself, you're going to give back my partyhat!" Myristica forced herself to smile. "Sure, that is if you get hurt."
Ioldar decided to keep out of this weird stuff and just stay home.
Mariah held a yew shieldbow in her hand and followed behind Goldberg and Myristica. As they walked, Goldberg talked.
"Now, you're probably wondering how I know where Loki is. Well, since he is my friend, I can see a dotted yellow line, and only I can see it," he stopped suddenly and stared at what was in front of him. The wilderness ditch. Goldberg shook his head, "Dammit, Loki..." Myristica gulped. None felt safe in the wilderness. It was highly dangerous and other adventurers wandered in there looking for other adventurers to kill. "Well, we might as well go now," Goldberg said, hopping over the ditch. The two adventures behind him shrugged and followed after him.
Spat didn't know that Laki was evil, he always thought he was a good friend. Spat let out a long sigh, he now noticed that Laki did not hide his evil very well. Of all the times they went out bossing, Laki always said that he would 'rule all of these creatures' every time they went into the wilderness. Spat watched as Loki and Laki argued. He found it very odd, if it was true what Laki said about being from the future, then how was it that history hadn't changed and that Laki was still there.
"Laki!" Spat heard a unfamiliar voice shout. Laki spun around. He saw the face of a unhappy gentleman. "Goldberg," Laki said, with a hint of disgust in his voice. Goldberg stood, one hand on his wounded stomach and the other welding his godsword. Mariah had her shieldbow pointed at Laki. Myristica crouched next to Goldberg with her swords. They were ready to battle. Laki laughed, "Really? A wounded man and two women? How weak do you think I am?!" Loki remembered something, something he hadn't thought about for years. When Loki was a child, all the goblins were scared of him. When he would go near them, they all would scream and run away. Loki remembered laughing at them. Then he remembered how he wondered what it would be like if they didn't fear him, the very moment he thought that, the goblins turned around and attacked poor little Loki. He gasped, his thought, that was what made them attack! And if he now did it, but instead of thinking of himself, he would think of Laki. The nearby monsters would attack Laki! As Goldberg tried to talk Laki into going back to his own time, Loki thought as hard as he could. Attack Laki! He screamed in his mind. Goldberg fell to the ground. A piercing screech flew through the air, angering the evil creatures in the wilderness.
The screech did not effect Mariah, Myristica, or Spat. Laki covered his ears, it was so painful. Goldberg groaned, the pain was much worse than his stab wound. Loki's rune armor appeared on his body. His swords in his hands. Loki grinned, he felt very powerful. Laki felt as if everything had slowed down. Loki leapt, an animal like smile on his face. Goldberg looked up, his eyes watering. He saw Loki, foaming at the mouth, about to behead Laki. Goldberg tried to shout, but his whole body felt weak. Loki held his swords at Laki's neck. Mariah and Myristica had no time to react. Laki closed his eyes and said, "Future reverti!" In a puff of smoke, both Loki and Laki were gone. Mariah, Myristica, and Goldberg were left in the wilderness surrounded by hungry monsters.
Loki opened his eyes, around him was a giant city. It was made out of pure gold, which seemed like a waste to Loki. He stood up and saw that Laki was passed out by his feet. Loki scanned the city for people, but there was no one in sight. Loki crouched down next to Laki. "Wake up," Loki whispered in his ear. For some reason Loki did not feel safe in the gold city. Laki still didn't wake. Loki shook him, and Laki groaned and sat up, "What? Oh, it's you..." Loki helped him up and with a look of confusion on his face asked, "Where are we?" Laki smiled and replied, "This is my city." Loki stood with his hands on his hips. "Eh, it's not that great," Loki said nonplussed. Laki rolled his eyes and stared at his golden city. The way the sun reflected off the gold made it look as if it were glowing. Laki sighed; no one would come to his city. They all thought it was evil. Laki told them that he had removed the evil, but no one would believe him. They said that the only way Laki could have gotten rid of the evil was to be evil himself, so he decided then he would become evil to rid the world of them.
Loki looked up at the sky; dark clouds were forming. Loki hated the rain, he then saw a nearby gold house. He glanced over at Laki who was standing in the city square. Loki opened the strangely creaky gold door and went inside.
There was a chilly breeze that came through an open window, however there was no light. The room was dark and filled with crates. Rats ran across the floor. Loki looked for a torch to light on the wall. He tried not to trip over any crates or barrels, but he failed to see one small crate. He fell over, knocking several barrels down. He heard the squeak of rats running back into their holes. Loki groaned and sat up. He reached to rub his foot, but then noticed that what was inside the barrel was all over the floor. It was a slippery liquid, and Loki's legs were covered in it. The liquid went through the cracks in his armor and soaked into his pants underneath. Loki tried to stand up, but his shoes were filled with the liquid and he fell again. He took off his shoes and crawled over to a dry spot in the room. He stood up, using the wall to help him up. He felt on the wall an unlit torch. He took his tinderbox out and lit it. Once the flame was bright enough, Loki looked around the room. He saw that the barrels he knocked over were filled with an oil. The room was all wood, which he found strange. Why was the outside all gold, but the inside damp wood? Loki sighed, perhaps the rain would have been better than this. He dragged his fingers across the wall as he walked to the other side of the room. There was a red door in front of him, the paint was wearing off. Loki reached for the doorknob. "Loki?" He heard Laki say. Loki turned his head and saw a rain soaked Laki. "Loki, what are you doing?" Laki asked, staring at Loki's hand. Loki swallowed and said, "I'm just looking around." Laki raised his eyebrows. He was very suspicious of Loki. He did not understand why Loki hadn't killed him yet, he was going to before Laki did his spell. Laki still wore his dragon armor, but it looked much older than before. Loki didn't remove his hand from the doorknob. "Don't..." Laki began. Loki turned the doorknob. "...you dare!" Laki shouted as a bright light came from the door.
Loki was blinded by the light. He held his hand up over his eyes. The room was filled to the brim with riches. Anything of any value was in that room, and in the middle was a chest. Loki walked towards it. "No!" Laki shouted. Loki ignored him and stroked the top of the chest. There was a thick coating of dust on it. The chest was made of oak and gold. Loki tried to open it, but it was locked. "What's inside?" Loki asked, fiddling with the lock. Laki stared at Loki. Loki's rune armor was cracked and damp and Loki was barefoot, and with all that Loki had a crazed look on his face. His black hair messy draping over his bloodshot eyes. He had a bruise forming on his forehead. Loki was a wreck. And Laki still was afraid he would kill him at any time.
Goldberg stood up. All he could feel was pain. All he could see was darkness. He could hear the echoing voices of Mariah, Myristica, and Laki's friend, Spat. They were shouting and Goldberg could hear the sound of monsters being killed. He search for Myristica in the darkness. He touched something, it felt like a pillow. "Oi, matey! Watch it!" Myristica said, grabbing Goldberg's arm. "Mariah, we gotta go! We can't fight all of these guys, let's go back to Edgeville and heal Goldberg up!" Myristica shouted. She began to pull Goldberg in a different direction. Goldberg could hear the clomping of Mariah's footsteps behind them. Myristica let out a sigh and said, "We're safe now." Goldberg could feel Myristica's angry glare. "Next time you need to get my attention, just shout," she said. Goldberg rubbed his eyes and said nonchalantly, "I'm blind."
"Wait, what?" Mariah gasped, pulling on Goldberg's face. Myristica and Mariah examined him closely. His eyes were not focused and they were cloudy. "He... is blind," Myristica said, patting Goldberg's shoulder. Goldberg couldn't see the worry on Myristica's face or the sadness in her eyes. Goldberg grinned and leaned his arm on Myristica. "Hey, it's all fine. I'm sure that my vision will come back," He said, though he didn't sound very sure.
Laki wrapped his arms around his chest. His crystal blue eyes watched Loki's every move. Loki sat at a dining table with a feast laying in front of him. He stared at Laki, as if he were asking "Can I eat?" Laki leaned in closer to Loki. "Enjoy," he said, softly. Loki grinned and began to eat.
He first ate a whole chicken, some curry, a crispy cod, then he drank a beer. And another beer, and another...
Loki felt dizzy. His cheeks warm and red. He smiled, that probably was the best meal he had ever had. Loki looked at the table. There was almost nothing left, but a cabbage. The cabbage sat in the middle of a silver plate. Loki reached for the cabbage. Its green leafy body was light. Laki watched as Loki held the cabbage. He held it like it was a baby. Laki watched as Loki stared at the cabbage. "What is this?" Loki asked, sounding very drunk. Laki chuckled, "It's a cabbage." Loki squinted and said, "Nah, it isn't! It's a steak!" Laki scratched his head and thought to himself, Loki is a strange drunk. Loki bit into the cabbage, the bitter leaves almost made him choke. Loki couldn't quite remember what happened with the chest in that room. He didn't really care, he enjoyed the food Laki gave him. He needn't anything more. Laki lent Loki some casual clothing and socks to wear. Loki put his socked feet on the table and leaned back. "That was good!" Loki said. Laki smiled a little, he was proud that Loki enjoyed his cooking. Loki belched and closed his eyes. The bruise on Loki's forehead was a dark purple. Loki felt a throbbing headache coming on. He groaned and rubbed his temples. He started seeing double. Did Laki put something in his drink? "L-Laki," Loki stuttered. He shakily stood up. He felt like the whole room was spinning around. Laki's feet were the last thing Loki saw.
Myristica gave Goldberg a stick for him to use to see. Goldberg still was not used to being blind. He swung his wooden stick around, looking for a seat. He hit something hard. "Ouch!" He heard Myristica shout. He had hit Myristica's leg. "Sorry," Goldberg said, rubbing the back of his neck. Ioldar had tried to figure out where Laki and Loki had gone, however he hadn't found out anything new. Ioldar found out that the spell Laki shouted was to go into the future, but Ioldar didn't know what timeline they went into. Mariah and Ioldar sat in the Varrock library, searching through books. Mariah closed a book, sending dust into the air. The sunlight from outside dimly lit the room. Ioldar coughed and leaned back into a pile of books. "We're never going to find it," he whined. Mariah nodded, her eyes were staring at the small text of a large red book. "I think I just did," she said. Ioldar read the book over her shoulder. The book read:
I learned a new spell. It sends you 50 years into the future. I used it, I must never tell anyone it, for going in the future changes the past. I met my son and wife. I did not understand at all why I would had married her. I shouldn't write too much about this, I don't want to ruin the future.
Mariah looked up at Ioldar. They had found it. They could save Loki. They must tell Myristica and Goldberg, quickly!
Goldberg breathed in and out. "Deep breaths," He muttered to himself. Goldberg tried to mediate, but it was doing no good. His mind kept wandering. He was much too worried. Goldberg stood up, taking his walking stick. He heard the sound of running footsteps. "Goldberg!" Shouted Mariah. Goldberg looked up and then remembered he couldn't see. "Yes?" He asked, focusing on the noises around him. "We found this book," Mariah said. There was a moment of silence. "What about this book?" Goldberg questioned. "Oh, right, you're blind..." Mariah muttered, flipping through the pages. "We found the spell, it sends you 50 years into the future," she said. Goldberg coughed and hugged himself. His wound felt worse than before. "50 years..." He muttered. Goldberg shook his head, his golden locks covering his cloudy eyes. He couldn't believe it, not at all. The blackness Goldberg saw around himself began to take shape. There was a dark silhouette of a woman. Goldberg heard her high pitched screams. "No," Goldberg whispered. He remembered that day. The colours of the wallpaper, the sweet smell of fragrant flowers.
Goldberg's mother was preparing a stew for when his father was back from fighting the trolls. "No!" Goldberg cried, reaching out for his mother. His hand phased through her, she disappeared. "Goldberg?" He heard Mariah say, worried. Goldberg fell to the floor, tears rolling down his cheeks. "Mother..." He whispered. Darkness filled the room.
Laki gritted his teeth, the pain was too much to bare. Blood poured out of a cut on his arm. He stitched the gash shut, he tried to hold back a scream, but it hurt so much! Laki poured water on the wound, blood dripping onto the floor. Laki wrapped his arm up with a piece of his shirt. He sighed and sat down, resting his arm on the table in front of him. Laki glanced over at a bundle of cloth on the ground, it moved as a human breathed. "Oh, Loki, why did it have to end this way," Laki whispered to himself. The sky fell to darkness. We must lock the doors, Laki thought, before the monsters come. Laki sat down next to the bundle of cloth and rested his head on it. "We will sleep, peacefully," Laki whispered.
Loki snapped his eyelids open. His lips were dry and his mouth felt like he was fed sand. He felt very warm, he was wrapped in several layers of blankets. He sat up, but something held him down. "W-what?" Loki looked down at his waist. Laki was hugging him, tightly. "Laki?" Loki poked his face, but Laki was fast asleep. Loki smiled a little and patted his head. Laki muttered in his sleep, "Brother, please don't go again." Loki cradled his head in his arm. Who ever did he speak of? Loki did not care, he felt a warmness in his heart when he was around Laki. It was as if Loki knew Laki from long ago, but Loki could not remember. "L...Loki?" Laki whispered, his voice soft and sleepy. He stared up at Loki with his deep blue eyes. "Is it morning yet?" Laki asked, resting his head on Loki's shoulder. Loki nodded, looking at a barred window. The sunlight came in through the thick glass. Laki sighed, "I must tell you something, Loki." Loki did not hear him. He was watching a caterpillar climb on a twig. "This is very important!" Laki hissed, he was getting very irritated. Loki groaned and crossed his arms, "What?" "You're my brother..." Loki's eyes widen. He was shocked. Brothers? It couldn't be true, could it? He shook his head, these things are much too confusing. He needed some morning tea to clear his mind. He gently pushed Laki off of his shoulder and walked towards the kitchen. "Loki!" Laki whined, falling back into the pile of blankets. He stared up at the ceiling. Ivy had somehow found its way up there, it covered a mural. The mural was of a beautiful golden city. Laki remembered painting it with his brother, that was the day he disappeared. He wished that the city would be the one in the mural, however Laki didn't know how to make a city. He built the houses, he made the city with his own blood and sweat. He hoped that once the city was built that his brother would magically appear, but that never happened. Laki gulped, he had searched for Loki for years. He never knew that Loki would had changed so much. Loki poured the tea into the cup, steam rising off the hot liquid in a wispy cloud. "Would you like a cup?" Loki asked Laki, his hazel eyes sparked with a happiness. Loki always wondered what it would be like if he had a family. Laki was his brother, or so he said, but something about him made Loki feel like he knew him, perhaps he really was his brother. Laki nodded, his silence made Loki worry.
Loki smiled as he set a cup in front of Laki. "T-thank you," Laki said, he was angry at himself for being nervous. Loki sat across from him. "Tell me how I am your brother," Loki asked, clasping his hands together. He stared intently at Laki.
Laki sighed and blew on his tea, the steam dissipated into the air. He spoke up, he no longer nervous. Loki trusted him.
"When we were young children, about the age of five, you went to get some more paints. I waited for you for hours upon hours, but you never showed up. I searched everywhere for you, but you were no where to be seen. I talked to the local librarian, he said that I should talk to the wizard they call Myristerg. When I talked to the wizard, he said that someone stole you and dropped you while traveling through time. He told me that I would meet strange people and become friends or they would become enemies.
I trained for weeks and finally, I was ready.
I used the spell and jumped through time, however, I fell. I fell in your time, but I had no idea, so I fought to try to get back to my own time, but I failed. I would never return to my town, I would be lost in this time. I decided I would live in this time as a normal human, but I ended up finding you! That was the happiest day of my life!"
Loki closed his eyes and sighed. Laki gulped, did Loki not believe him? It was a unbelievable story, but Laki trusted Loki and Loki trusted Laki. "Laki... Brother..." Loki said, a grin on his face but tears in his eyes.
Myristica searched for Goldberg, but it was much too dark to see. "Goldberg?" She shouted, waving her arms out in front of herself aimlessly. "Myristica, what happened?" She heard Goldberg ask. His voice sounded fairly close to her. "It's dark... I can't see," Myristica said, following his voice. "I'll lead you to outside," Goldberg said, he grabbed her hand. Myristica's heart fluttered, she felt the blood rush to her cheeks. "Don't be afraid, I'm here," Goldberg said, Myristica could almost hear the smile in his voice. With Goldberg there, Myristica felt safe. "Where are Mariah and Ioldar?" Goldberg asked, his grip tightened. "I don't know," Myristica said, trying to keep up with Goldberg's pace. "I haven't heard them at all," Goldberg said. He suddenly stopped. "They're not here," Goldberg whispered. Myristica bumped into Goldberg's back. "H-how do you know?" Myristica asked. Goldberg was silent, he opened a door. The door let in sunlight. The brightness was blinding. There was the sound of chirping birds and the warm wind hitting Myristica's face. "Is this the right door?" Goldberg asked. Myristica could now see his sweet smile, when he smiled she could see that he had one tooth that was slightly crooked. She never noticed that he had dimples. The light shimmered on his blond hair, and his emerald eyes sparkled. "Y-yeah, it is," Myristica said. Goldberg lightly tapped on her leg with his walking stick. "Do you know where we are?" He asked. Myristica shook her head. Goldberg coughed, "I'm still blind..." Myristica awkwardly chuckled, "Uh, right, sorry, I have no idea where we are."
They were in the ruins of a city. Buildings were rubble and the only one that still stood was the giant building they had just left.
Myristica described everything to Goldberg as they wandered mindlessly.
"Uh, there's a statue..." She said. In front of them was a statue of Saradomin.
"It's all but destroyed," she said, she felt sad. She felt like she had been here before, when it was not in ruins. Was this Falador?
"Myristica... are you all right?" Goldberg asked, he was worried, for Myristica was being very quiet. Goldberg grabbed her shoulder. "Are you all right?!" He shouted. Myristica weakly smiled and replied, "Yeah, I am."
If you actually read this...I love you.
Um, if you saw any errors or anything you think I should change, please tell me. I'm always willing to improve my writing even if it's a silly fan fiction!

I've just been doing it for fun so don't take it too seriously, :)
Now, I'll tell you what this is a fan fiction for!
There's this MMORPG called RuneScape and I love it so much I decided to make a fan fic!
First things first...
Loki is based upon my character on the game (LokiSoup)
And the other characters are based on my friends. (Not Laki though, I made him up just for this story.)
So if anyone reads this, you don't really need to have played the game, you just need to know a tiny bit about MMORPGs.
Anyways, it isn't finished, but it probably will be at some point :D!
Enjoy this fan fic!
(Beware, it doesn't have an awesome plot, so if you're looking for something that is mind blowing awesomeness!)
He was a child who was forgotten. He cleaned up other's messes and dreamed of being an adventurer, a hero! His parents died of the plague. He was left alone. He was called Loki, for he enjoyed pulling pranks on people. One day an adventurer came into town; Loki was very excited. The adventure's was named Mariah. Loki saw a large crowd and ran there. He pushed through the people and then saw her. She held a bow and wore animal hide armor. She was talking to the people about her adventures, "And then I brought Fluffy back home!" Loki was in awe, he so very much wanted to go on adventures. "Pardon, but how do you become an adventurer?" Loki asked. Mariah looked up at him and said, "You can't just become an adventurer willy-nilly. You gotta first see if you're fit for fighting goblins, ogres, zombies and dragons!" "Will you train me?" Loki asked with a smile on his face. Mariah shrugged and answered with a "Yes."
Loki had never fought anyone before. Mariah told him that he would start with goblins, but they really freaked him out. Mariah decided to let Loki fight cows first. Loki didn't like to hurt the cows, because they were just too darn cute.
After a year of training...
Loki was ready to go on his first adventure!
He went into the deadly wilderness. He went into a damp cave. The cave was dark, but Loki had a lantern that dimly lit the tunnel. He heard the pattering of feet. He gulped and continued down the cave. When he came to the end of the cave, his lantern burnt out and it was much too dark to see. He could hear something moving. He heard something go "Graaughh!" Loki held up his swords. He, then, saw a light in front of him. "Loki?" A voice said. He saw that the person holding the light was none other than Mariah! With her light they could see that the cave was filled with zombies! Loki and Mariah stabbed and killed as many zombies as they could, but there were just too many. Loki shouted loudly, "Get out of here!" "I can't leave you! You have no chance of winning alone!" Mariah shouted back. Loki slashed a zombie in half and yelled, "I can do this! You've got to get out!" Mariah swallowed and ran out of the cave. Loki sighed and dropped his swords. He knew that the zombies would kill him, but instead they stood there. Loki looked up at the undead. They wandered a little, but did not attack Loki at all. He was very surprised. He walked out of the cave and left the wilderness. He went to Edgeville and saw Mariah in the bank.
"Mariah!" He shouted after her. She turned around and saw Loki. "Loki! Thank Saradomin, you're alive!" She squinted and asked, "Are you all right?" Loki shook his head, "Something strange happened in the cave, Mariah." She raised her eyebrows. "The zombies, they didn't attacked me," Loki said, sitting down on a nearby crate. Loki sighed and rested his head on his hand. "What...?" Mariah gasped. "Excuse me, I couldn't help, but overhear your conversation," A man said. He wore bandos armor. "I know what your problem is, sir," He said. Loki looked up at him and asked, "Well, what is it?"
"You're cursed,"
"Cursed?!" Loki shouted. He stood up and grabbed the man by the shoulders, "Tell me there's a cure!" Loki said. The man stumbled back. "I don't really know... But I can take you to someone who might," He said. He brushed back his golden locks. Loki and Mariah followed him as he led them to Varrock. They went into a hut. "Um, Ingald Belger?" The man said to a man with a grey Afro. "Yes, yes?" The Apothecary said as he walked back and forth, looking at the potions on his shelf. "This man needs you to make a cure for his curse," The golden haired man said. "Oh, what kind of curse?" The Apothecary asked. The bandos wearing adventurer shrugged. "I-I don't know, I was in a cave with zombies and they didn't attack me," Loki stuttered. The Apothecary thought for a moment and then said, "Well, I don't have it on me right now, but if you can get the ingredients, I can make it for you."
"You need unicorn horn dust, eye of newt, and the tears of an adventurer who is of... Royalty?" The Apothecary said, reading his notes. "How are we going to find an adventurer who's royalty?!" Loki shouted, he crossed his arms and closed his eyes. Mariah patted him on the shoulder and said, "We can do it, Loki." The gold haired adventurer spun his godsword around and said, "I can help too, and by the way my name is Goldberg." Goldberg grinned and said, "There's someone who could help you find the adventurer. "
In the Blue Moon Inn...
"The names Myristica," A woman with white hair said as she sipped her beer. Loki, Mariah, and Goldberg sat on tall stools next to her. "And... Why would I know this?" She asked, ordering another beer from the bartender. Goldberg spoke up, "Because, you're the most well known adventurer around these parts." Myristica stroked her chin thoughtfully. "I do know one adventurer who's royalty, but I won't show you where he is for free." Goldberg groaned and took some gold coins out of his backpack. Myristica motioned for more. Goldberg pulled a purple partyhat out. Myristica grinned and said, "That'll work,"
"All righty, follow me!" Myristica said, hopping off his seat. She walked towards the exit.
Loki, Mariah, and Goldberg followed Myristica. They went from Varrock to Falador and stopped at Taverley. They rested as Myristica told them a bit more about this adventurer. "He is kind of a... How do you say? Loser, so watch what you say," She said. They sat on the grass. Myristica sat with her legs crossed. Loki showed off by holding himself up with one hand. Mariah sat with her legs straight out and Goldberg did push-ups. "So, what does this guy look like?" Loki asked, almost losing his balance. "Well.... He has long white hair- kind of like mine- and he wears a lot of green," Myristica said, searching her backpack for her new partyhat. She placed the purple partyhat on her head and grinned, "How do I look?" She said. Loki gave her a thumbs up with the hand he was using to support himself with and fell. Goldberg wiped the sweat off his face and said, "It looks better on you than me,"
Loki groaned as he lifted himself off the grass. "Let's just find this royal pain," Loki said, brushing the grass off his Rune armor.
They stood in front of a portal. "Only I can go through the portal, because I am the only one who actually knows him," Myristica said, stepping into the portal. After a couple minutes....
A man with spiky white hair and dark skin walked out of the portal with Myristica. "Now, what was it you wanted with him?" Myristica said, with her hands on her hips. The man looked around, confused. Loki crossed his arms and said, "We need him so we can make a cure for me." The man glanced at the four adventurers in front of him. "What do you want me for?" He asked, glaring at Loki. "For a damn cure!" Loki shouted, annoyed at him. "I am Prince Ioldar, by the way," Ioldar said, scratching behind his ears. "So, we got the unicorn horn dust, we got the eye of newt and now we need tears of Prince Ioldar," Goldberg said. Ioldar tilted his head and said, "And why would I cry for a guy I don't even know?" Loki threw his arms up in the air and said, "Either you willingly give your tears to me or I beat them out of you!" Ioldar laughed, "What's up with this guy? Is he stupid or what? If you beat me up to get this 'cure', you're just going to end up in jail." Mariah put her hand on Loki's shoulder, but he pushed her hand off and stomped closer to Ioldar. "I don't care if I have to kill innocent guards to get this cure, I am GOING to get this cure!" Loki shouted. "Hey, hey, Loki, calm down," Myristica said in a kind voice. "Calm down?! How can I calm down if I'm gonna be cursed forever?!" Loki shouted, his contorted face with rage. Myristica slapped him. Loki rubbed his cheek and frowned. He walked to a nearby pond and sat down. "Hey there, kiddo, you all right?" The fisherman next to Loki asked. Loki ignored him and twirled his fingers in the water.
Ioldar shrugged and asked Myristica, "What's wrong with him?" Myristica shrugged. Mariah stepped up and said, "He's been cursed..." Goldberg shook his head. "He hasn't been cursed," Goldberg said, "He was born that way," He said, glancing back at Loki.
"Loki's parents died of the plague, right? Wrong, Loki was found one day. No one knew who his parents were, or if they were even alive.
He never got attacked by the goblins near where he worked, though all the other workers got hurt. I watched Loki most of his life," Ioldar interrupted, "So, you stalked him?" Goldberg sighed and continued with his story. "When Loki met Mariah was when his full power was activated. Loki didn't realize that when he killed any monster he become more powerful. The day he went into the cave, the zombies were at his command," Mariah gasped, she looked back at Loki.
Loki hugged his knees. The fisherman rolled his eyes and thought to himself, Kids these days...
Loki couldn't remember what made him go into that cave.
Was it the danger? Was it the unknown? Why did he go into the cave? He wasn't wearing the proper armor. He was stupid. "Hey, kid, how about you fish? It'll take your mind off whatever losery thing you're thinking about," The Fisherman said, handing Loki a fishing net. Loki took it and dipped it in the water.
When he pulled it up, it was filled with fish. "Wow!" The fisherman said, impressed. Loki dropped the net. The fish flopped in the net. Loki back away, with fear in his eyes. "What's wrong with me?!" He shouted. Ioldar, Myristica, Mariah, and Goldberg stared at him. "Tell me, Goldberg, what is wrong with me? You know don't you, Goldberg?" Loki said, in a tone that made Goldberg worry very much. Loki stormed off into the home portal in Taverley.
