JUNE"Hi", he says. "I'm Daniel."
"Hi, I'm June", I reply.
We stay like that for a few seconds, hand in hand, electricity pulsing through my veins. Seconds feels like hours. And suddenly, the spell is broken. He lets go abruptly and I stumble backwards in shock. He grabs my shoulders to steady me
"Better watch out there, yeah?"
"Yeah", I hoarsely whisper. Its been 10 years since Day talked to me nevertheless actually touch me.
He seems to sense a barrier between us and doesn't say anything. We walk in silence the rest of the way to my apartment where he drops me off.
"I'd like to see you again June."
"I don't know. I'm pretty busy these days and so are you. You have Edens interview", I say.
"Of course. I did not mean to intrude"
I start to close the door but then remember something.
"Day?" It takes me a second to realize my mistake. I called him Day.
DAYI freeze and the whole world comes crashing down. She called me Day. Somehow it doesnt seem foreign coming out of her mouth. I turn around slowly, and look at her. Her face is pale and she has a horrified expression on her face.
"My mistake Daniel. I'm sorry. Goodnight", she says.
She starts to close the door, but I wedge my foot in the door before it closes.
" How do you know my street name?"
"I don't"
"You called me Day"
"Yes, it was foolish of me and I apologize."
"Im not leaving till I get an answer"
"You want an amswer, ask someone else", she says furioulsy. It seems to me that shes crying so I let it be.
"Im very sorry to have disturbed you"
I walk away and ponder over this mysterious June. I cant help but notice, shes quite pretty.
If that's ok with you, mind if I keep doing Day? Lol, sorry... But you can tell me your idea lol :) and I can use it. Again, if you really want to be Day, that's fine, but I'd kinda prefer to be hmm, if that's ok with you. And you are doing an awesome job with June! I love it :)
Yeah...dont wanna step on your territory!!!! And thanks!!! Honestly, I posted because I wasn't sure if you saw my first one but yah. Really sorry..:(
Actually, you can ignore the Day that I wrote and you write from my first one of June. Thats probably easier.
Oh, sorry I didn't read the day part--I thought it was the June one! Ohmygod I'm sorry, lolz. I love yours :) I'll keep it and maybe add a little, if that's ok :)

Day
I freeze and the whole world comes crashing down. She called me Day. Somehow it doesn't seem foreign coming out of her mouth. I turn around slowly, and look at her. Her face is pale and she has a horrified expression on her face.

"Yes, it was foolish of me and I apologize."
"Im not leaving until I get an answer."
"You want an answer, ask someone else", she says furiously. It seems to me that shes crying so I let it be.
"Im very sorry to have disturbed you."
I walk away and ponder over this mysterious June. I cant help but notice, shes quite pretty.
No, she's beautiful. But I have a strange, nagging feeling in the back of my mind, like I've seen her before. Which is crazy, of course. I wouldn't forget a face like that.
But then why do I feel like I know her?
The door to my apartment is unlocked, which means Eden must be home. Kicking my damp boots off by the door, I head inside.
Sure enough, Eden is sitting on the carpet in the living room, a bunch of mechanical pieces spread out across his lap. His fingers play delicately across them with the kind of patience that makes me restless just to watch.
He hears me come in, glancing up, his golden hair falling into his eyes, which are slightly unfocused, as they often are when he's tired. The medics did all they could, but I can tell he struggles sometimes.
"Day," he greets, his gaze sharpening as his eyes adjust and align.
Bringing up that name reminds me of the pretty not-such-a-stranger I met today. June. That was her name.
Eden has always been perceptive, and quickly picks up on my expression. "What happened?"
"Nothing," I assure him, crossing the room to sit on the sofa across from him. "It's just...you're not the first one to call me that today."
Eden's eyes flicker with something strange, that's like alarm, but deeper. "Who?"
I shrug. "Some girl."
"What was her name?" Eden's voice is surprisingly harsh.
"I...don't remember," I lie. "What's up with you, anyway."
Eden sees right through me, as usual.
"Day, come on. Her name...?" He folds his arms and glares up at me out of his pale blue eyes.
I swallow, my throat suddenly dry as I struggle to choke her name out. "June. Her name was June."

Lol, sorry it took me so long, but I was moving... I didn't want to type it on my phone -__- and I finally got to a computer, so... Anyway, sorry about that.
