Let people know which Horror books you love, what's worth reading, and what's really not.
Keep this one for simple recommendations and short reviews. There's a seperate folder for discussions about Horror books and authors!

Sonja (sonjbean) | 2 comments Adam Nevill's The Ritual is so good! I know one of his other books was talked about on the podcast, and I love the way he creates suspense and describes terrifying things. Would definitely recommend anything by him.

Sarah | 17 comments One I just read a couple months ago, and that got me out of a major book slump was Bird Box by Josh Malerman. I simply could not put it down and the author did such a great job of creating a creepy atmosphere. The premise is that people are being driven to violence and suicide and all anyone knows is that it's because of something they saw outside. So many of the scarier bits occurred when the characters had their eyes closed, and I was totally caught up on how terrifying it would be to be in their shoes. 100% recommend!
