━━━━━━━ [ THE HEX NIGHTCLUB ] ━━━━━━━

. the hex nightclub happens to be a brand-new addition to new orleans. exactly what we need, another bar! with flashing lights and loud music all night long, the place is bustling with activity. the perfect place to make new friends, but also the perfect place to get yourself into trouble. the place is full of magic and wonders. rumors are that the owner, ametrine, is actually a witch. the supernatural know the truth, but what about the blind humans?

Magic, the world would be nothing without it. It was such a powerful thing, this unseen power that some select few have the ability to wield, that if it were ever exposed to the eyes of humans, the absolute normal, everything could collapse. They were fragile little things; the smallest upset in the reality they created for themselves would cause everything they believed to crash and burn. And when humans’ worlds started to cave in on themselves, they resorted to violence and irrationality. Take the Salem Witch Trails, for instance. They’d gotten a glimpse of magic, the humans did, it terrified them, so they rounded up every person they suspected as a witch and destroyed them with fire or hanged and drown them.

That’s why Ametrine had taken extra precaution within her club to make sure the little humans didn’t walk out with more than they could handle. How had she done this, one might ask? Magic, of course. Any human who walked in could experience doses of the magical vibe of Hex, but as soon as they walked out the doors, the memories were warped, fuzzed over ensure they remembered no details of the actual magical elements they may have got a glimpse of. They’d remember the fantastic time they had, and the impression they’d be left with of Hex was that it was a wild club where the impossible seemed real, but that was it. No magic. No supernaturals. Nothing that could rattle the poor little creatures around too much.

Now, each supernatural who came in and out of her club, they’d leave with the exact memories of what happened. They were big kids already within the veil; they could handle any and everything. Each inch of Hex had some sort of quirk to it that tied to Ametrine’s roots, be it her magical side or her tech love. She took everything she knew and tied it all together to create this place. From the drinks brewed by the witch herself as well as the few other witches she had on staff to the cameras and sensors she’d built from scratch and laced with magic, each aspect was carefully thought through and executed.

So when the lights around the bar transitioned from a light white to red for a moment, Ame knew that a vampire had just walked through the doors. Had it been another supernatural, the color would have varied. The young woman knew each species that stepped into her club, allow her to keep a close handle on things. Her eyes veered from the drink she was pouring to the door to catch the face of the fangs that were coming into Hex. A redheaded girl, one who walked with plenty of confidence and didn’t seem on edge from being around all the humans pumping with blood, so she was not a newly turned. But that hardly meant she wasn’t one that needed to be watched. All supernaturals needed to be kept a close eye on.

Emily wiped her mouth clean of blood with the back of her hand, avoiding all table manners, dropping the corpse to the floor and moving to grab the gasoline. It was messy what she was doing, but she didn't have any patience to track and hunt for days. Pulling the gallon of gasoline from the back of her trunk, she began to pour it over the corpse until the can was empty. She tossed it on the body before grabbing a match box from her pocket and stepping a few feet back, she grabbed a match before lighting it on the box and tossing it at the body.

She smirked at the flames and a memory came to mind. Dexter It was an honest mistake, she was still young and in love. Not that she would ever tell him that. She never turned a human after him. Not feeling what she felt for him. The humans she sunk her teeth into were simply meals. Blinking, she walked away from the scene and got into the drivers seat of her car. Pulling away, she drove towards the newest club in town. She had promised a few of her friends that she would make an appearance.

Stopping at a red light, she looked down at the dress she was wearing and smiled, fangs and all. Years of practice and she was finally able to keep her outfit perfectly clean while feeding. She looked back up at the light and frown when she saw the blood on her hand. No problem, she had wipes in her glove box. She would probably need to fix her lipstick as well. The light turned green and she was entering the strip. Making an immediate right, she turned into the parking lot of Hex and parked. She pulled down the sunshade and looked at herself in the mirror. Her teeth were clean but her fangs were still showing. From what she heard, the witch could control what the humans see. So she tried not to worry about it. Fixing her lipstick and wiping the blood off her hands, she got out of the car and fixed her dress.(view spoiler)She locked her car and placed the keys into her small purse before pursuing the entrance. Eyeing the security, he gave her a lustful look to which she just rolled her eyes.

The club was just like any other, bodies packed together and the music was drumming so loud that the only way to communicate (at least for humans) was through body language. Emily could smell the witch the moment she walked in. Turning towards her, she made a bee-line for her. Her posture was open and her face show no sign of threat.

Once she made it to the bar, she smiled slightly. "Hello." She chirped. Charming as ever, she stared at the witch with kind eyes.
