I'm actually done with the book. :) BUT I listened to it and I was too far in before I realized it was the abridged version. :( As for first impressions, I did find myself not wanting to leave the car so I could listen to more of it. Lol!

Ugh, I hate when I find out it is abridged after it is too late. (Happened to me with Blood Meridian, or the Evening Redness in the West)

Why do they even make abridged forms? That seems silly to me. Have you ever met a person who preferred those??
