Casual Readers discussion

Recently I was lucky enough to see The Book Thief and was impressed by how close it was to the film and how good it was. I have seen other good adaptations of books but I have also seen some awful ones. One of the worse being Stephen Kings Dreamcatcher.

What good and bad adaptations of your seen?

Omg Dreamcatcher was horrible. I was reading that when they started advertising the movie and was so excited.

Divergent was a good one.
Breaking Dawn 2 was awful, wasn't anything like the book.

I loved Divergent as well and The Hunger Games. Can't comment on any of the Twilight films as I only saw the films never read the books.
