I'm all ready. Say when. Candle, matches, saying "Proust" (nice one, Magdelanye) and thinking of Mary Anne's pistachio shortbread madelines.
....and my best singing voice is ready for Auld Lang Syne. ......hubby thinks I'm absolutely crackers...... (again...)....
Well, I figure I'm late, so I lit my candle, sang my song, raised my glass of lemonade and prousted Proust. Happy Birthday, Marcel Proust! May you continue to bring enjoyment with your works for many years to come.

It's been a year already? A peaceful, belated birthday, Marcel Proust.
I wonder with whom Proust has tea and madeleines and with whom he lingers to talk all night. Tomorrow is Emily Bronte's birthday.
I loved Wuthering Heights. I wonder how best to celebrate her birthday. I know nothing of her life.
Proust is surrounded by famous and interesting people in his resting place. They must have amazing parties, birthday and otherwise.If there is a ghostly afterlife, that's the cemetery to be buried in.
I hope to be buried, if not in that cemetery, then at least the adjacent one.
