This challenge has been revamped and the instructions may have changed so please read them carefully.

The original version of this challenge has been moved to the Scheduled for Revamp folder. If you are currently playing the original version, you may continue where you are, but new players should use this thread.

Each year from the original challenge has been split into a separate challenge which will be posted at regular intervals. You DO NOT have to sign up for every challenge if you don't want to. Just pick the years you want to take part in.

Emelie wrote: ". Read a book with a wild animal essential to the plot can i use animal shifters for this task"

I think I would have to say it depends on the particular book/character. For example, I would consider a werewolf who had no control over their shifting to be a wild animal but a shifter who can transform when they want to would not.

Level 2 - Two tasks per film (18 books)
Level 3 - Three tasks per film (27 books)

This challenge has been revamped and the instructions may have changed so please read them carefully.

The original version of this challenge has been moved to the Scheduled for Revamp folder. If you are currently playing the original version, you may continue where you are, but new players should use this thread.

Each year from the original challenge has been split into a separate challenge which will be posted at regular intervals. You DO NOT have to sign up for every challenge if you don't want to. Just pick the years you want to take part in.

This challenge is based on the nominated and winning films for the 'Best Picture' academy award in 2012.

Choose your level and complete the required number of reading tasks that relate to each film.

If the film is based on a book, you may read the book in place of any one of the tasks for that film. Films based on a book are marked with a *
(If I missed any films that are based on a book please let me know!)
