How did they discover the murderer? *spoilers!*

I've just finished the book and what I didn't get was - how did Black, Stork and Butterfly figure out that Olive was the murderer? At one point in their discussion they just seemed to suddenly decide he was the murderer and jumped him. Am I missing something here? How did they know?

During their conversation, Olive suggested killing Master Osman and they concluded that he is the murderer.
