Original Characters Roleplay discussion

Hey, again! As I've said, I'm Skellygirl. I'm really quirky and awkward, just as a warning.
I am most comfortable with third person. To me, it's just easier to add detail and, subsequently, write more (usually at least a paragraph or two, if not more). I can write in first or second person, though I probably won't write as much. When the school year starts up I'll be super busy but during the summer I'm able to reply pretty quickly. I'm usually really eager to reply so if I don't right away, there's probably a reason. If I do disappear for a couple days without any prior warning, feel free to yell at me.
Unlike almost everyone else who rps, I don't really consider myself a writer. I just love to roleplay- it's relaxing and I think it's a great way to improve my writing skill. Don't worry, though. I put a lot of effort into my storylines and I'd like to think that I'm a worthy rp partner.
Speaking of, I prefer my roleplays to eventually develop a storyline and actually go somewhere as it holds my interest best.

Just a little bit about me:
~ As you can probably tell, I use a lot of commas. I'm sorry.
~ I prefer my laptop to type out replies but sometimes I have to use mobile. In that case, there may be a few grammatical or spelling errors and it may not be as long but it doesn't happen too often.
~ I know that I can be a little annoying sometimes. I'm not too great at peopling so sometimes my radar for that stuff is broken (hence the awkwardness). If I ever am, feel free to tell me and I'll reel myself in!
~ I'm still really new to Goodreads so forgive any newbie errors.

I'll probably add/ fix my profile but I think that's a pretty honest representation of me for now. I'll post in the comments some of my characters but some may take a while since I'll have to go digging through some files. :P

Age: 17

Bio: Ophelia comes from a rather large family, being one of five children. Recently, her oldest sister- Rose- left for college, leaving her the only girl among three brothers. She's excited about this because a girl as quiet as Opie sharing a room with a girl as demanding and forefront as Rose was a struggle. Hunter, the second oldest, is a year ahead of her and a natural athlete. Opie takes her place in the middle. Maxwell is in his Freshman year and Oliver is still in middle school. Her mother and father are good, simple people, working hard for their comfortable place in middle class. They are extremely family oriented and try their best to encourage strong morals, good work ethic, and overall kindness in their slew of children. Their attempts have been successful as while Rose and Hunter are "socially decorated" as Ophelia would call it, they are genuine and kind-hearted- mostly. The Sterlings live in a decent sized four bedroom house on the outskirts of town, hidden away behind nature. Some would call it beautiful.

Personality: At her core, Opie is brimming with life. Her mind thinks in vivid shades of blue and green and red but also more dreary colors. She has a creator's heart, as one may say. She's happiest when she can hide away from the rest of the world, submerging herself in one that is far more interesting of love or horror or mystery. The girl likes to paint. In fact, her room is decorated with her work on the walls. Whenever inspiration hits, she loves to surround herself in the fantasy world of her mind. At these times, she is optimistic, maybe to a fault. Her optimism, however, is easily destroyed by pessimistic realism; the bleak colors of the real world wash over her mind and force her to accept her reality. Realistically, attention scares her. Opie can handle one or two or maybe even three sets of eyes on her but more than that- especially a critical eye- fills her with anxiety. On the exterior, she tries her best to not stand out. The limelight of her football star brother and gorgeous sister makes it very for her to do so. The girl with a shy manner, timid voice, and near constant apprehensive or disinterested look keeps to herself and maintains a comfortable place in high school- neither recognized or ignored. Just... there.

Appearance: Ophelia has medium length chestnut brown hair that is wavy and more often than not messy. Her face is heart-shaped with a button nose and brown freckles scattered along her cheeks. Her eyes are a dull green color hidden behind thick-framed, square glass but when they catch the sunlight just right, they're stunning. Her skin is pale and while she stands at 5'7", her body is very petite. Her clothing is plain- faded blue jeans, black converse sneakers, gray and blue striped sweater. In her own right, she's beautiful just not by the typical standard. Maybe if everyone looked harder, they'd be able to see it.
