SO excited to read this! I've heard it's wonderfully moody.

Is anyone else struggling with this book? I'm having an impossible time getting into it and starting to feel like maybe I'm missing the point of the story? Anyone have suggestions or ideas, I'm all ears!!

I pushed through and finished but it was really boring for the first 2/3 ish of the book. The last 1/3 or so is just ok. Nothing spectacular or unexpected happens. I'm so disappointed by this book. Everybody raves about how good it is. You're not the only person who has said they are struggling to get into it. Not only that but I didn't like the characters at all, the reactions to certain events were off. I probably would have DNF'd it if not for this group and so many other people telling me it's their favorite book or to push on because it gets better. I ended up giving it 2.5⭐ 😔.
