They won't be uncombined. You can create a new edition then it can be combined with the old ones to share reviews.
Scott, just one quick comment. I notice that the new cover for Consider Her Dead edition is not showing up as a picture icon on my GR dashboard - it's actually showing the Goodreads icon. Should I re-upload the book cover? Thanks.

When I launched my debut novel BLOOD POOL, I published two editions, one in American English for the US market - ASIN: B00AQN4SHW http://amzn.to/ZR77HI - and one in British English for outside the USA - ASIN: B00AR0XFX2 http://bit.ly/1bybGfk.
Both editions had the same cover, and same title. As you see, Amazon assigned each edition an individual ASIN, treating them as separate books.
Since then, Amazon has asked me to make it clear which edition was which for better reader experience.
To do that I’ve now given the US edition a new cover and different title, CONSIDER HER DEAD (the story and ASIN: B00AQN4SHW stay the same).
Back in February 20, 2014 when I ditched my author initials (J.E.), and changed to Jan Ryder, I uploaded new covers with the name change. At that time Ren and Rivka gathered all the editions of BLOOD POOL together and merged the reviews/ratings from both editions for me on my GR page.
My question now is this: Is it possible for you to de-merge the US edition (Consider Her Dead) from the other edition (Blood Pool) and for each edition to take its reviews with it? Or do I have to upload CHD as a new Alternate Edition that has no reviews as yet?
Thank you!
