Crescendo (Hush, Hush, #2) Crescendo question

Patch Was A Total Jerk!!!!!

Patch and Nora were both in the wrong. Nora pushed Patch away and Patch was just distancing himself. I was so mad that he was with Marcie and he was just disrespecting Nora even though he was protecting her.

i think both of them were jerks in this book

**I only just finished Crescendo so I don't know what happens next but...**

Nora was definitely worse in my opinion. The whole book it was like she was trying to find things to be upset about and looking for fights. She kind of just threw herself into this relationship and moved it really fast, and at the slightest sign of hesitation from Patch she just lost her shit and ended it. (I was also really annoyed that she up and gave away her fathers ring to a guy she'd just started dating and broke up with at the first sign of trouble)

Don't get me wrong Patch isn't a saint, and messed up big time by not just telling her the truth in the first place. Nora just seemed way too immature. I didn't really feel like she had any reason to be upset until the Marcie thing, which even then she had no say since she was the one that broke up with Patch.

The whole book was just really stressful to read because they were both just being idiots the whole time, for two people who sacrifice themselves for each other there isn't very much trust at all with them.

Patch is a jerk in the first 2 books for a while but he is very protective in the next 2 yes I JUST finished the rest of the series

I hated how Patch went with Marcie even though he was still dating Nora... a true boyfriend wouldnt do such a thing.

spoiler: he's better and more protective in book 3 though

I kind of got why Patch was doing everything, it was mostly to protect Nora. Although I do get where your frustration is coming from, but at the end I think that the fact that Patch in one of my favourite characters makes me defend him. It might cloud my judgment but try looking at it from his point of view. He wanted to protect both himself and Nora. Him not saying back was purely because of the archangels listening in and all the sneaking around he did with Marcie was so that the archangels would think that he has nothing with Nora (I don't remember if this is actually said in the book, this is just how I understood it) Plus, he couldn't get close to Nora, except in her dreams that is, to tell her about everything, and even there she was the one to shut him out. So, basically, I don't actually think that he was a jerk because everything that he did was to protect Nora. It all came down to her well being.

you have to realize just how old Patch really is, despite looking 18.. and he is a guardian angel. Nora needs to realize he specifically can't tell her everything.. and she is acting true to her age. Her lil rants are a bit annoying lol. Still love her. Im not sure what was all true with Marcie, and what Rixon made sound worse than it really was to play them.
