Upper Elementary Book Review discussion

This book is great in topic and structure. The story centers on Auggie, a boy who was born with a facial deformity that has caused him to be homeschooled until this point. Kids understand both the kids who are teasing and ridiculing him as well as how horrible it is to endure their cruelty. Structurally, I liked this book because it tells the story from multiple points of view, which is a great way to introduce POV to kids. Well-written and very intriguing.
