Harry is adjusting to life as a single father and Maddie is recovering from the trauma associated with her mother's death. Why do you think he is so reluctant to create a deeper relationship with Mickey and his daughter?

I haven't figured this one out. He seems to shy away every time Mickey suggests they get the girls together. I'm not sure what his reasoning is. I was actually surprised when he agreed to go to supper at Mickey's house and bring Maddie along.

Harry nature is to first distrust but I think this is unique to Mickey. He's all the family Harry has left and I don't think he could handle the rejection. After Eleanor's death, he's still a little raw.
