Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments Race is very important. It can determine your character's aptitude for combat, magic, and stealth. Skyrim's list of races are the base races in this group, but there are more being made using characters/creatures in the game. You can also make your own race, as long as it follows the rules.

The format for creating a new race is as follows.

Name:

Origin: This can remain undecided. Origin can be how the race came into being, where they are found, or both.

Description: Please include a description of not only how the race looks, but its habits and other such information. A picture of a member of the race can be put here (and helps other group members visualize the race's appearance). An image can be used in lieu of a description of the race's physical appearance.

History: If your race does not have a history, put N/A.

Abilities: Put any spells/physical abilities the race has here. Please do not make it super powerful-no god modding.

Strengths: Strengths include what the race excels at, such as archery, stealth, conjuration, etc.

Weaknesses: These are the things the race is vulnerable to; things such as frost, fire, melee weapons.

Other: Include miscellaneous information here.

Origin: Mixing of spider daedra with humans.

Description: Aransors are descendants of spider daedra who mated with humans. There are rather small in numbers, and prefer to stay in dark caves. Some variations have four arms instead of the typical two. The markings on their faces varies from aransor to aransor, and ones living in different areas will often have vastly different markings. Their hair colours range from pure white to dark gray, and their eyes range from the same colours. They have strong familial bonds, and are slow to anger; however, once their anger is roused, they are terrible to behold. Many situate themselves in groups around shrines to Mephala, the daedra god who is said to control spider daedra.

History: Aransors originated from the mixing of spider daedra with humans. They are often secretive and shy, due to the negative reaction many have because of their affiliation with daedra. However, many are firmly on the side of good, although a few have been known to migrate to the planes of Oblivion.

Abilities: Poisonous bite, they are also very lithe and agile, and easily grasp conjuration magic. Sneaking is very easy for them.

Strengths: Stealth, conjuration.

Weaknesses: Speechcraft, fire and shock magic.

Other: They can be suspicious of strangers, but, once their trust is gained, they are very loyal.
