Please, only one nomination per person.
Keep chatter to other boards. Feel free to create a thread on the general board.
Do not give spoilers, or degrade anyone's nomination. ALL are welcome.

Totally just realized my derp mistake. This is for September Noms. I feel like that is why not many came in. Sorry, I added some previous noms to beef up the poll.

Well I knew what you were doing if that helps. I guess I'll go look for the poll. I haven't gotten the notice for it yet.

Only one poll shows up on the front page. You have to actually go into the polls section. Sorry about that.

message 10: by Skye (new)

Skye | 364 comments I must have missed the poll, but Picnic at Hanging Rock looks good; however, I am far behind in my reading, but I'm curious if this will be selected.

The Monk won.

I couldn't find it either. Something was up there.

Oops correcting an earlier message. I never got an invite for the classic poll.

I must have a limit on invites. This seems to be a problem with people who have names later in the alphabet. I do post them within minutes of each other. Maybe check in the polls section if you get an invite for one and not the other. I really need to be doing a newsletter and putting everything in it, but when I was doing them, I had many people respond strangely so I stopped.

message 17: by Skye (new)

Skye | 364 comments I just realized something, Trinity; there is a sub genre: gothic/horror novels, and some of the books we discuss may fall under that heading.

message 18: by Trinity (new)

Trinity | 803 comments Mod
LOL, yes. In our group description it states that the group was meant to fall into that category... without actually stating it...

message 19: by Skye (new)

Skye | 364 comments Thanks, Trinity, and that does help.

I think I have figured it out now. So I'll be ok. But I mean, the ones who never discuss and we never hear from, could we skip those?

message 23: by Skye (new)

Skye | 364 comments I was wondering who they were, Shaina.
BTW, the book is somewhat tricky.

message 24: by Skye (new)

Skye | 364 comments John pointed out some valuable little avenues.

message 25: by Shainlock (new)

Shainlock | 686 comments Mod
Skye are you talking about the monk?

message 26: by Skye (new)

Skye | 364 comments No, Shaina, I thought you were discussing, Du Maurier.
