So as part of my Tome Topple TBR I will be reading Strange the Dreamer by Lani Taylor, I know quite a few other people have chosen this book for their Tome Topple TBR, so I thought it was a great idea to make it book of the month. I read this when it first came out and I absolutely loved it. I don't want to say much about it because the less you know the better, but it is one of my favorite books of the year. 😌

Oh that's great, I got this book for my bday last month and haven't read it yet! I will try to read along with whoever is going to read it^^

super excited this is the book for this month, I've been putting it off because I really wanted to savour the writing and now is the perfect excuse to pick it up

Okay so I have a question...
How do you guys pronounce Thyon?
Do you pronounce it like Thee-on or Thi-on or differently?

Well this is awkward but I'm DNFing this book. Honeslty I'm not going to force myself through another 400 pages of overly descriptive writing that completley lacks any world building. I was so intruiged by Lazlo and this unseen city and his connection to it. I was enjoying Lazlos story but the world building is completly lacking and i cant imagine where the conversations and events are taking place. I'm very disapointed becuase i wanted to like this book. I hope you guys enjoy the book more than i did.

Wow! I was going to start this today... maybe not right now then.

I haven't started it yet, want to finish another current read first...sorry you couldn't enjoy it! I'm a bit afraid of the too descriptive writing but I'm also really excited!

Do it! It's tome topple, 500+ pages is too much time to spend on a book you don't like
