Hello, group. I joined this group because sometimes I write songs. Sometimes they're topical, sometimes they're "inspired" by writing prompts, and sometimes they fit into fiction I write. (In view of some writers' comments on "filking" I've usually managed to limit myself to setting their fictional folk songs to tunes.)

I am a musician and play six instruments. I was hoping to meet people who also play.

Hi all, just joined. I'm glad this is for music lovers as well as musicians. I'm the opposite of Audrey. I own six instruments and can't play a single one. But I did own a Christian Record Company for a while. I'm an author now (JW Gilbert). I always wanted to write songs, but found out that doesn't work if you can't at least play a piano or guitar. Or collaborate with someone who can. At 67, I'm too old to learn, but not listen.

Hi, I'm Katie and I was invited to this group. I woudn't call myself a musician but I do play the violin and love listening to music. I quite like electronic remixes of songs, especially songs with ALOT of bass and a thumping beat. I also quite like classical music/electronic remixes of classical music. Also like it the other way around, i.e classical renditions of popular pop songs (I LOVE Vitamin String Quartet's version of "Bad Guy", currently learning to play it myself).
