That was a super wild ride! Did you find yourself relating more to Amber or Meoraq?

If you were in Amber's situation post-crash, is there anything you would have done differently?

Do you think Scott is right or wrong about reducing Ambers foodrations because she is, as he puts it, grossly overweight?

How long do you think it would take survivors of a crash onto an alien planet to drop the social norms of earth?

A lot of people are very strongly opposed to rape. Do you think this story would be improved without rape? This includes Meoraq and Zhuqa.

Meoraq seemed to calm himself by rubbing his neck and counting to 6, do you have any special methods to calm yourself when you find yourself agitated?

Also, what color would you turn to show anger?

Early on, I found myself both identifying with Nicci in certain ways and also wanting her to get over it. What she said was often true, Amber made her (as much as you can make someone without physically forcing them) get on the ship.

That said, if Amber hadn't complained about their room assignments, they both would have been dead. If she didn't convince them to relocate to the ridge, they'd have died. If she didn't stumble upon Meoraq, they'd have died.

Amber gave her everything she could and it still wasn't enough.

I guess my question is, if you were Nicci, when would you have let it go?

As bad as Zhuqa was, i still have to go with Scott. He set everything in motion, from amber being captured to his people drowning/freezing and being caught themselves (and multiple times trying to kill ambee)

I really did not like Scott & I was unhappy with his ending but Eric turned out to be the character I disliked the most.
