Mayla ran up to the fort in her robes. She had Fireball and Firestorm out in he hands. Mayla had no idea what would happen, but she was ready.

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments Ayrin was invisible. At least to the loud and brazen conjurers below her. She was sitting, concealed, in an alcove above a large space in the fort, perched on one of the arches that supported the old structure. She knocked another arrow, and prepared to shoot the two conjurers in the room.

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

Malya lodged a fire ball at a conjuror. It set on fire and wailed in pain.

message 5: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments Ayrin shot an arrow through the neck of the other conjurer and lept lightly down from her perch. She had another arrow already knocked and she pointed it at Mayla for a few seconds before realizing who it was. She lowered her weapon slightly. "Wh-what are you doing here?"

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

"Worshiping talos. I'm adventuring" Mayla added. She hopped that she would be able to get at least some of the loot.

message 7: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments "I-that's not what I meant!" Ayrin groaned, gripping her bow tightly. "I meant why are you here? Did you follow me? I don't see this being a coincidence!"

message 8: by [deleted user] (new)

Mayla shook her head, "No no. I hard from the local bartender that this place has treasure." She was in a rough spot right now.

message 9: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments Ayrin stared hard at Mayla-forgetting the other adventurer couldn't see her face-for a few seconds. She lowered her bow slowly, although she kept her gaze on Mayla's face. "Why should I believe you?"

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

"I still have some mead from the bar." Mayla explained while searching through her satchel. She held up some Argoian Bloodwine.

message 11: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments Ayrin resisted hissing with some difficulty, but her stance lowered defensively. She bared her teeth, again forgetting that her face was in shadow. "Are you going to poison me? Well, have fun drinking that by yourself!"

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Mayla rolled her eyes, "I don't drink! A drunk nord ordered this for me." She explained. "Now, do you wanna split the treasure?" She asked.

message 13: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments "Split? I was here first!" Ayrin let out a harsh breath and relaxed her posture. "There's nothing here, anyways. It dead ends. Just a few potions and scrolls, anyways."

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

Mayla slumped down. "Well, I thought that I would be nice." She said, "But, if that's it. Then you can stay here." She said.

message 15: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments "I'm not staying." Ayrin slung her bow onto its place on her back and tugged her gloves slightly, as they had been slipping off. "I'm going home...this has been a waste of my time and frankly, I could use some peace and quiet..."

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

Mayla sighed, "Okay. What ever pushes your ash hopper." She put down her hands, "You aren't to bad." Mayla commented, "I can tell you've been trough a lot, but don't worry."

message 17: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments Ayrin froze and stared at Mayla for a few seconds in a bit of shock. "You...you're right, I guess, but I try to not let it get to me. I mean, hasn't everyone been through something big?" Ayrin shook her head.

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

Mayla sure nodded, "I can tell you mine if it makes you feel better." She was new at this whole friendship thing.

message 19: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments "Uh, sure? If you want to?" Ayrin looked around at the ground for a moment before sitting down. She looked at Mayla expectantly.

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

"Well, my tale is simple, an assassin came almost killed my parents. But noooo, I had to be given up into slavery! So I was a slave for most of my life, shackled to a wall. I escaped using flames, ran off and ended up a beggar. When I got enough money, I went to winter hold to learn magic. And I'm here." She explained. Mayla tried to sum up her journey the best she could, but she wasn't good at that kind of stuff. "What's yours?"

message 21: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments "Oh, that's terrible..." Ayrin shifted uncomfortably, and then looked up at Mayla's question. "I, er..." Ayrin cleared her throat, and then put a hand to her hood. "I don't usually do stories, but-" She slowly pulled off her hood, and looked at Mayla with her milky white eyes.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

Mayla smiled, "That's fine. And you are really pretty." She complimented. Mayla had never seen anyone like her, but she seemed nice.

message 23: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments A silvery blush appeared on the pale woman's cheeks; she wasn't used to compliments-at least, not ones directed at her! "Th-th-thank you..."

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

"It was nothing. Besides you really are." She said. Mayla truly meant it. She smiled at her.

message 25: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments "Uh, y-you are too!" Ayrin stared at Mayla for a moment, her blush darkening, before whipping her hood back on to cover her face. "We should, uh, get going...d-do you want to stay at my keep for a while? There are plenty of places to explore around it..."

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

Mayla nodded, "I need a little more money. Who knows? We might find a secret passageway." She said. Mayl a walked of into the deeper parts of the fort.

message 27: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments "Uh, did you actually hear anything I just said?" Aryin stood up swiftly, straightening her clothes as she did so. "We should leave-this place doesn't feel right. There are plenty of places to loot near my keep."

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

"Oh, I thought this was your keep. Oh well. Hey, could you mark it on my map please?" Mayla asked. She pulled out a small folded price of paper.

message 29: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments "Oh, sure, uhm...I don't have a quill, but it's there." Ayrin pointed it out on the map. "It's near Chorrol and Anvil-it's closer to Anvil, though. If you ask the proprietor of the inn outside of Anvil, they can point you in the right direction."

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

Mayla nodded, "Okay. I'll try to get there." She said.

message 31: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments Ayrin shot Mayla an invisible smile, and gave a quick stretch of her shoulders before nodding briskly. "Well, I'd better get home...I'll see you around. You're welcome at Shadow's Keep whenever you are nearby."

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

Mayla smiled, "Thanks. If you ever find yourself in Morrowind you are welcome with me." She said. She then left.

message 33: by Erin (new)

Erin (bleedinginkpen) | 58 comments "Thank you." Ayrin waved and then left the fort soon after Mayla.
